We won't be seeing any mega fights at Heavyweight this year will we?

 

All Heavyweight that are worth note are scared to face AJ or thay would fight him.
Mega fights at Heavyweight are not going to happen by the looks of things.

I think it's likely by the sounds of it Usyk will be AJ opponent later in the year when WBO mandatory gets called.

wilder will continue to avoid AJ like the plague and fight his cherry picks of Ortiz and possibly Knownacki if beats Helenius.

Am I being optimistic in thinking Fury vs Whyte is a possiblity later in the year? ESPN have a deal wirh Whyte for his American broadcasting rights and surley Arum can no longer put Fury against De Mori level opponents after Schwarz.

 

When did Whyte with ESPN happen. That was never confirmed.

 

So much for the "we'll know during the next 48 hours" and "announcement this weekend".

I wonder if Ortiz’s back tracking has got Eddie trying to work out a deal with them again?

 

This would be ideal and sounds plausible given the delay.
