Eddie Hearn suffering PPV withdrawal illness and busy collating the pieces of a huge shyte for the O2 show. Domestic duster special will get pumped on TV by the final of Strictly Come Dancing
Joshua v Whyte Brook v Chavez Eubank v Spike Campbell v Bellew v Mitchell v Burnett v Is definitely worth PPV
I bet Sky are regretting getting involved in Fury-Klitschko. The aftermath of it moving to November 28th has really ****ed up there PPV plans - are people really going to buy 2 PPV's in the space of 2 weeks - I'm not thats for sure. Kilt-Fury could last a round or be a stinker and theres is nothing on the undercard apart from an ancient Rod Stewart. Dec 12 card is only sky sports quality even with Brook...Its not PPV. Hearn if he is not careful is going to make a rod for his own back interns of his apparent diminishing support across the boards.
Which of the above fights are worthy of PPV? atsch These should be your standard fortnightly headline fights for Sky Sports Boxing.
The top 3 combined Are you off your face? Try naming 4 cards Matchroom could manage of that quality over a 2 month period
Don't get me wrong it's a good card and I know many don't mind buying Ppv but no sport is worth paying to watch whilst you sit in your own living room. Especially when you already pay a monthly fee. Let's put some real perspective on it, the whole idea of it is disgusting really. But, as with most things these days people take it lying down and it becomes the norm. Funny the way people have to pay for anything better than the usual rubbish and it's as if we should be grateful.
The problem these days is that the regular cards are so **** when a decent card does come up people think it suddenly becomes worth the PPV.
so basically as long as the card isn't utter **** it has to be ppv? what ****ing nonsense, Joshua vs Whyte is a fight for the casuals, spike vs eubank isn't that great of a fight and the brook fight should not be ppv but Eddie is convincing people like you he should always be on ppv
Are you off your face? Two decent domestic fights, one of them being two guys who were both schooled by BJS and haven't done anything since. Plus Brook vs Chaves, who ive barely heard of, followed by a load of TBA. At this stage its just not a PPV card. simple
If people buy them then they will keep doing them. Supply and demand. I personally think ppv should be for stand out cards a couple of times a year max. But if people buy the more average ppv card then sky have no reason to stop doing it. It makes them money which in the long run could turn out to be good for British boxing. Without sky's backing the sport would be in trouble in this country. But this is no reason to mug the fans off. It depends how you look at it I guess. I always buy them as I want to watch it. I pay for BN even though I rarely watch it. I just want to have it for s certain fights I want to watch.
