It is a hard stretch to imagine them both happening, let alone on the same night. Joshua-Wilder is on the way to displacing Mayweather-Pacquiao for amount of wasted time and number of false promises. Fury-Usyk on the other hand is at least signed. I'd watch Wilder KO Joshua first. Then switch over and still have plenty of the fight for all the belts still to watch.
Undisputed could well be a snooze fest between Fury and Usyk but Wilder v Joshua will be on the other end of the spectrum and is most certainly going to be fireworks from the first bell and more than likely a Hearns v Hagler type affair as long as it lasts anyway .
Considering the amount of kids he keeps producing, I don't think he needs to. Can't blame him, his wife is a doll (and I mean that in the greatest respect).
I think at this point Fury has more than enough financial and political pull to get away with PED abuse if he wants
The insinuation was that it might provide a convenient excuse to never have the fight at all, but you might well be right that he could do it and get away with it - heck, he might need to to get back into competitive shape!
Battle of the losers v battle of the winners Wilder and Joshua are both shot to **** and it would be a good comedy fight to watch one of them get completely sparked out. Then the entertainment would continue afterwards, you would have Wilder reeling off a long line of delusional excuses like 'his trunks were too heavy' or 'Michael Buffer didnt pronounce his name correctly in the introductions' Or you would get Joshua fighting completely gun shy, getting sparked out with Eddie Hearn and Frank Smith picking up the fragments of AJs shattered jaw, awarding AJ a mythical victory, following his recent mythical 6 round KO of Fury, before calling out Usyk for the decider in their mythical 1-1 trilogy
AJ vs Wilder is an exciting fight, would love to see it. Usyk vs Fury is a tatical boxing match, could be quite boring, but Im still interested as an Usyk fan.
people like @AdamT were begging for AJ-Wilder to have been this era's version of Usyk-Fury they are nowhere near the ability level of Usyk-Fury. Can't wait for the rematch!
Well, Fury-Usyk turned out to be a classic and the rematch expected to be just as good. Joshua-Wilder never was and never will be. But to the query, I favor any fight Usyk is in as you don’t see many fighters with that level of talent.
