Unfortunately the same mugs paid for Fury v Wlad and the penny may have dropped with many - maximum hype followed by utter tripe. Surely they must wake up soon.
The atmosphere would be so much better if this was at the o2 again. I really didn't enjoy Froch-Groves 2 at Wembley.
I'm not sure they will ever wake up. AJ v Wlad is easy to hype and fool them with. And, let's face it, even the most sceptical of us accepts that it is a more "interesting" fight than anything AJ has been involved in yet. Probably not worth paying for, but then I never do. I don't even have TV, don't even pay a TV licence. If anything is worth watching, I'll see in it a pub.
Perhaps SKY Box Office should wait and see how Haye-Bellew is received before making the price hike though. If a load of casuals get drawn into that, and it turns out a huge let-down, I doubt they will be keen to part with £20 the following month.
If they try and reach the HBO price range I think they're in for a shock, I for one would never pay £50-100 for a PPV, I don't care how good a fight it is. Especially considering how many fights matchroom/sky are putting on PPV now, you'd be looking at a grand a year...
Lol. I can't believe the yanks pay that extortionate amount for a boxing match. That's like 1.5 days worth of wages for some people. Around the 15 quid region is reasonable. The last farce wasn't worth £17 though. Fast Car's lucky chisora and whyte fought a modern day classic or he'd be up to his ears in fackin aggro.
think Eddies already said that the prices in USA are ridiculous but then again what Eddie says and Eddie does sometimes doesn't correlate
I doubt Sky try and hike the price after the recent two quid increase. Bellew/Haye is in the same month as well which should have some baring on the price. However the WWE events have sometimes been priced at £19.95.
