My mate has managed to get hold of some tickets. Before I commit to going, anyone have any idea how bad the £76.50 tickets? Im guessing they wont be great. Havent been to wembley for a boxing show, no idea what the seating plan is like.
Was about 15000 ahead of me when i joined the queue, finally got in after about 25 minutes with plenty of tickets available everywhere. Saw the prices, had a little laugh to myself and logged off. £350 lower tier behind the goal (towards the front), £450 lower tier at the side and even more expensive on the floor. I'll save my cash and watch at home instead, I'm not that desperate to go to pay those prices.
it’s right at the top of the stands. Honestly you won’t see a thing. You’ll be there for the atmosphere. Depends whether you prefer that or actually want to see the bouts? If so I’d stay at home and watch it on TV
It should be a fun fight but better to stay at home at watch. You will just be at Wembley watching it on the big screen there singing sweet Caroline about 6 times
All that Saudi loot and these grubs still want to shaft genuine boxing fans!!!! They just cannot get enough loot and hopefully these greedy multi-millionaires earn enough millions to put food on the table.
Really didn't think Joshua wanted this fight but it's a welcome surprise. In my opinion, this will be an absolute classic and I'm fully routing for Dubois. I'd have Joshua the slight favourite and think the Joshua KO within 6 is probably the most likely outcome. However, If Dubois can protect himself better early on while making it a very physical fight, he'll have a huge shout in the 2nd half if it gets that far. He's a naturally big man and has a huge engine at the weight compared to the pumped up Joshua. He hits very hard himself also. Joshua has looked really good in his his last couple of fights but on checking his recent cv again. The guy has literally fought nothing but bums for 2 whole years. That shows just how mentally broken he was after the 2 Usyk losses. The competitive nature of Dubois recent fights are a huge plus for him imo.
The only elite boxer in the division Usyk may tell you otherwise. DDD may love taking the knee but he has more power than an old man from Russia when he fought Joshua then Whyte twice. Both fighters fall apart after being hit so the first power punch does it for me.
Honestly you'll end up having to watch it on a screen anyway and depending on the angle that might not be great either. Plus you pay about 12 quid a pint and getting out is a nightmare. As you're at the top you'll be the last out too probably.
The many downsides need to be weighed up against having the opportunity to sing along to Sweet Caroline and film 2 ants on the way to the ring.
