My point is I think AJ would in fact turn down a big money offer to fight Francis because he may not actually have as much confidence in himself to get the job done as some of his supporters in this thread are arguing. Fury's wife look terrified when Francis clipped him and we know AJ doesn't take well to big hits. So I say AJ ducks this fight regardless how much the Saudi's would dump on him.
I never changed my mind about his ability until tonight I said he was a duck, I never doubted his ability Any mma just kicked boxing a.. tonight and it's hilarious. You guys are loving Fury being humbled, but it just embarrasses the sport
Ngannou showed that he will look to counter when the opponent throws. How well will AJ take the counter left hook?
Really ? I have said it since it was announced that this is bad for Boxing, regardless of what happen. As the reigning HW Champion should fight the best contenders, not a 2 years inactive making his debut MMA fighter, who is also 37 years old. But it was Fury fans that was defending this parody and saying this was great for Boxing. This night literally kills the Boxing for so so many hardcore fans. This is what casuals do the sports and not only. Trying to catter to them is the worst thing you can do, whether we talk about Music, Boxing, Football, any sport, Gaming, Programming, etc.
Likely, from my understanding Francis and his team were looking to set-up fights with all 3 of the big names when his UFC contract ran out, Fury, Wilder and AJ. Wilder was apparently close to getting the deal done too.
Well you are laughing now, because you hate fury more than you love boxing As a boxing fan I'm gutted he embarrassed the sport. You don't like boxing, you just hate Fury. Well least you are happy, Fury was found RiP boxing and nobody cares about usyk or the others The fact is, a guy making his debut beat a world champion in his first fight and if the roles where reversed? He would kill Fury, Aj and usyk one after the other in mma in less than 2 minutes Boxing just took a major L tonight The mma forum.i post way more frequently in, is having a field day They don't care about Aj, usyk wilder and others. They/we just witnessed an mma guy beat a world champ in his debut Embarrassing lol
Anyone who bought the PPV for this clown show is part of the problem. It's too late trying to close the door after the horse has bolted. Fury has embarrassed the sport - in that you are correct. But his toxic fan base has enabled this travesty. So yeah, people are gonna laugh at them
I didn't watch Watched highlights Anyway mma>boxing forever after this. That was just humiliating and no boxer will ever replicate it in an octagon
I don't hate any single person on planet earth. I don't know that feeling. I don't like Fury, and the reason is Fury himself, and he brought that with his antics. I'm a Martial artist, more of Karate/Kickbox lover, but have been training Boxing in the past, and Boxing fundamentals is pretty much in everything combat related. And as far as loving, eh it's hard to love the sport, not just because of guys like Fury, but because of the corruption and the whole system. There is no way Fury won that fight tonight. This was a robbery. Boxing is killing it itself. Greedy piece of **** like Fury is doing this. And people like Fury fans are supporting this, and also supporting Boxing Dying. It's that simple. And as far as MMA going, yeah Ngannou will definitely beat all of them in the cage. As far as the rest, you can thanks your guy for it.
Most likely, however Bud Crawford would be the one guy who would possibly not get totally embarrassed due to the wrestling background he has. He'd need a long time to train kicks and BJJ still.
Well francis did beat a world champion tonight Boxing is dead already in my eyes, especially with the youtube boxing Thank God I still have mma
All credit to the man for Saturday nights performance he deserved the win but in my humble opinion AJ goes through Nganou like a dodgy curry after 10 pints. He does everything better than Nganou it's that simple.
