AJ vs Parker result: "Worst Heavyweight title bout of all time":

Looked like something out of Hollywood trying to script a fight
    where neither actor gets hurt.

    Yeah, more or less.

Pretty sad state of affairs up there at the moment, to be painfully honest.

Klitschko Fury was awful too but Wlad at least tried to come alive in final round. This today was a head scratcher. No man took any risks and both fought like they knew they had it- how could either guy feel like they had they bout won. Strange

Try watching John Ruiz when he was champ. ****ing horrendous.

I enjoyed Parker v AJ, tactical and high level boxing. Not for the casuals I guess.

    Not even close.

There's Byrd/Williamson, Klitschko/Ibragimov and plenty of other bad HW title fights.

Promoters should have staged a "double header" of Klit vs Fury, plus AJ vs Parker , and have the
fans admitted free, with the option to put money in a "charity bucket' for the fighters, as the
    fans leave.

They both did the same thing from round 1 through round 12. No tactics changed or used mid fight, that's for sure. The only thing that dramatically changed the second half of the fight from the first was Parker gassing out (ironic to me, as I assumed that was Joshua's role-to-be in this fight)...

Low punch output. Almost no combinations and even less exchanges. No urgency or visible tenacity. I thought the fight sucked. And you're talking to a guy who counts Ivan Calderon among his favorite fighters ever.

That said, it is infinitely out of the conversation for being among the worst HW title fights. It was razor close. That alone makes it better than any comparatively low-action HW title fight that the same can't be said of.

It was boring. I thought Parker would be game for this fight. I reckon he was taken aback by Joshua’s composure, keeping him on the end of his jab.

Overall, a clear winner, but a snoozer, for a heavyweight clash.

Mike Tyson vs James Smith was a whole different level of bad.

It was also a rotten fight. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you are getting paid over $15m you put on a show? People moaned about Wlad for years but he generally put on a show when he was getting a big check like Wembley, most of his career was $5m a fight on German channel RTL. Joshua and Hearn mugged the ppv punters and attendees tonight. I don't trust them vs Povetkin to do any different, in fact exact same. It's not as if Parker was a super dangerous guy, like a Haye in 2011. He couldn't KO his last three.

We need to create a tourney with the 8 Worst Heavyweight title bouts, of all time, with
the loser of a fight moving on to the face the other losers from other fights.

I point you in the direction of Henry Akinwande Vs Lennox Lewis.

Go and watch that and then come back and apologise to Joshua and Parker LOL
