It’s a football and instagram slut crowd. They spent half of the fight snapchatting and taking selfies. Wilder has educated boxing fans at his fight and when the boos started he delivered and electrified the viewers.

I remember that fight!! the crowd was LITERALLY BOOING THEM EVERY ROUND. And it didn't even phase them to be more active. they were just standing there checking each other out lol.

    Shades of Ali!

That 'fight' makes Joshua vs Parker look like the 10th round of Holyfield-Bowe I by comparison.

Made all the more hilarious when you consider Williamson's nom de guerre was 'Touch of Sleep'. You really couldn't make it up! You know things must be bad when an NSAC official visits both corners and basically implores both fighters to do something:

Everyone who watched that fight probably caught a touch of sleep ... like, twelve entire rounds' worth. The only time the punters woke up was at the end of the twelth round to boo both guys.

Yes but Wlad was an old farrt he performed to his age. What is Joshua's excuse can you imagine Joshua at 40 that would be hilarious .

Well AJ best win came against a older Wlad. In any case Wlad vs Fury was the worse heavyweight title fight I ever seen.

LOL...the most excitement in that fight was in round 5 when Larry Merchant went racist and said Mills Lane was an Oreo Cookie when he was squeezed between Lewis and Akinwande. Mills was right in handing a DQ to Akinwande.

Klitschko vs Fury is the worst entertainment for value in boxing ive seen. Joshua and Parker individually landed more punches than Fury and Wlad did combined in their fight. The referee didnt help the action either.

If you mean clinching, sure he engaged a heap during his career.

    This.

Worst fight which resulted in the passing of the HW title.

Maybe one exception. Well, two, since the whole Schmeling/Sharkey incident.

It was an akward fight, ugly fight, never got into a flow. Parker waiting for AJ to make the moves, AJ waiting for Parker to make the moves and neither of them could set or settle when they did, it was more of a bit of a stand off with Joshua doing just enough to feel confident he was picking up the points per round. As the fight went on it was down to Parker to start making some moves and he didnt feel that the openings were there and just rushed in a bit and Joshua was not going to help Parker out when he didnt need to so wasnt going to push for a result he was going to get anyway if the fight carried on as it was.

This Sport is an entertainment based business but all the entertainment comes in the build up, come fight time entertainment comes 2nd to trying to win a fight, they dont train for 3 months on how to just slug it out with thier chins in the air for peoples entertainment.

Yep, you are saying what this forums "Team Slick and Black" or whatever have been saying for years. And for some reason it's a point of difference between boxing fans. Like political parties... Myself, I couldn't agree with your statement more.

(Beware that Team Rock 'em Sock 'em AKA Team Pac and Wack AKA Team Joshua the GOAT will hate you for typing such a post)

If you think that fight was the "worst heavyweight title bout of all time" then you've clearly never seen Lewis/Akinwande.

    Lewis v Akinwande for me.

As a showcase for what the heavyweight has to offer as it's top dog in AJ I was left disappointed and bewildered that he is boxings best champion at heavyweight.
