Hopefully after the loss to Joshua he'll make some changes in this regard. He's young enough to come again and talented enough.

Some small changes would make him far more effective. Firstly learn to not stand in front of opponents after throwing, Wlad used to do the same before Steward, he was an offensive machine but once he stopped punching he was a sitting duck and Parker is the same.

Learn to counter punch. He actually has a good stance to set up and fire right hand counters with his tendency to lean forward with his body position to his right. I see so many opportunities for him to land right hand counters it's crazy. But he never throws it. He'll find he'll be able to control range much more easily if he learns this as opponents will hesitate to come forward as much, which will give him more opportunities to lead.

Parker is a terrible world champ don't even think he'd beat Chisora.

Great analysis! Yes Takam likes to set traps and counter you. He did it against Povetkin, whacked him a few times but Sasha has a good chin.

I agree, this is an uphill battle for Parker, he has to be smart, move, throw combos and either get out of dodge or tie AJ up.

Also he's not getting the decision, let's face it. If he makes it to the later rounds he needs to go for broke and KO gassed AJ.

I'm a big fan of Chisora but even I don't think he'd beat Parker. In his prime he'd give him a run for his money but he lacks the power to really hurt Parker.

It's going to be great fight and we'll all be watching because we simply don't know who's going to win. Both fighters I like but I'm picking Joe to take the win. In the end, I'm just happy Joes making the effort to unify. Theres been a lot of criticism of Joe (e.g. he wont fight so and so, hes a ducker) but its actually Team Parker that has really pushed for this fight to be made hence the out of character dissing of Joshua we saw a few weeks back. Parker and Joshua are trying to unify and thats what matters really.

Parker has fought much better opposition than Wilder......................he needs a new trainer..................but rumors are that he has a chin like Tua, if so, Joshua will be in for a long night, but Parker will have to fight Joshua's referee, judges, boxing commission..................one punch and the referee will stop the fight and give it to Joshua, like Joshua's last fight..............

Any calling Parker a ducker is an idiot. It's pretty clear he has always been looking to test himself. He took the Takam fight when many thought it was too soon and too big a step up and so too risky.

He took the Ruiz Jr fight only because it was clear Joshua was aiming towards Wlad.

When Wilder called him out after Joshua/Wlad it was Duco events that reached out to Wilder's team to actually begin negotiations, doesn't sound like a fighter or team who's scared of anyone.

Willing to fight Hughie in the UK, no fear of travelling or robberies. Even after the cancellation of the first fight nobody would of blamed him if he told the Fury's to bugger off even though it was a mandatory. But he agreed to all their requests to get the fight made. And remember it was Haye that chose not to enforce his WBO mandatory and fight Bellew instead of Haye that led to Hughie being the mandatory.

As soon as Joshua approached him he's never been anything but amenable and seemingly willing to make the fight. No stupid demands, willingness to compromise when coming down from his original 60/40 demand.

And yes we really don't know what will happen for sure. We all make predictions, based off of what we see and know and potential style match ups. But there is no way we know for sure, if we did we'd quit our jobs and just gamble on fights for a living, lol.
