I hear this isn't selling well and Eddie is moving this to York Hall.

    Thats what the hardcores want

Eddie to fail and the best British fighters to be at York hall quibbling over a few quid

Meanwhile tgey can jerk off to oleksander Usyk on box office

matchroom fights stopped "selling out" at roughly the same time they ended their not at all dubious partnership with a major ticket tout. up until that point their shows were routinely "selling out" in a few seconds/minutes and thousands of tickets were coincidentally appearing on said touts website within seconds/minutes also.

All coincidence, go baaaaaaack to sleep, sheep.

    Right.

Was no empty seats though was there?

So now that apparently the tickets should be cheaper at face value why hasn't it sold out?

Who is going to pay top dollar more than once to watch 2 ants fighting at Wembley Stadium?

Many Brits even paid to see CSI vs Logan and Fury vs Seferi for crying out loud. Safe to assume enough will buy tickets and PPV's for an actual boxingmatch.

this is the point, the only people who go to stadium fights more than once are ringside, or simply aren't there to watch the fight but are there to post up #lookatme pics on Instagram or whatever

exactly....90 % of people at Wembley must watch the fight on a screen which begs the question why bother going at all?....

For me boxing does not work in stadiums ...Its hard enough to feel involved when 22 players are on an open pitch not 2 fighters in a small ring behind ropes etc...

Having said all that if the places were not putting bums on seats then they would not be happening

    What's the problem with that?

A lot of people make a weekend of it with a fight like this. No they aren't up with the whos who of the Japanese flyweight division they just want a night out.

This elitism amongst boxing fans is ****ing pathetic, how many of us on here are down our local ymca on a Friday night supporting grass roots boxing?

Pack it in with the holier than thou attitude

It's ENTERTAINMENT at the end of the day

That final line is the point - AJs fights at stadiums were certainly not described as entertaining for three of his 4 fights in stadiums.
