Dont think casual fans are any different to any other era tbh, when Hatton was packing arenas it was aimed at casual fans and the football market, same with Haye, same with Nas, Bruno, Benn etc before them.

Most sports big events are. It's sold on a big event where you make a day out of it. I don't think there is anything wrong with it either, if we kept it hardcores only then every fight would be in York Hall and tucked away on Eurosport with a couple of hundred people watching.

10,000 tickets left unsold last night

Can this be considered a flop?

How many of the 80,000 would go to another AJ stadium fight after the stinker of a card Eddie put out last night?

No chance is that a flop. You forgetting that Fury could barely sell out a copper box against a top British rival and a strong undercard?

10,000 unsold when you sell 80k is most defiently not a flop.

Selling 80k is ridiculous no matter what metric one uses.
