AJ VS POVETKIN at Wembley September 22nd. Do I like the fight ? NO. Do I want to AJ vs WILDER. YES. Will it happen in the future ? YES. Whatever is contrary to what both camps have said, I think they are both to blame, they’re all grown men and need to get their **** together and get the fight made after this one because the world wants it and there’s money to be made and hopefully one of the best ever but something has got to give. Are we expecting a routine AJ mid round KO/TKO ? Or can POVETKIN pull out a one shot KO and shake things up ?

I think AJ will get stopped by povetkin, he's all wrong for AJ

big spanner in the works and wilder will face povetkin afterwards

Joshua stops Povetkin in the late rounds or he cruises to a win by UD.

The whole AJ/Wilder thing is boring me to death now...im looking foward to this fight still.

Why wouldn’t anyone like AJ-Povetkin as a fight? It’s a great fan friendly fight. I’m so pumped for this, can’t wait.

Other than Wilder who is a better fight for September?

Price nearly got him in their fight.

    Joshua will.

Half decent fight. Povetkin will have a go. Aj should be too good for him tho. Its a tricky style for Joshua...povetkin will look to fight the same way Dillon whyte did. Try to push him back. Joshua should be too big/strong for him tho. Good fight. Not fussed for the wilder fight. Joshua would batter him. Wilder will fight scared would be surprised if he let that big right hand go much anyway when or if they do fight.

No chance Wilder fights “scared” against Joshua IMO. He was the one pushing for the fight to happen. He doesn’t fight scared. He’s always patient and has full confidence in that right hand. So much confidence that he’s happy to let his opponent build a big lead because he knows that the right hand will take them out in the end.

I think since AJ has stopped the juice he has lost a lot of power....i expect a carbon copy of the Parker fight

I mean if the WBA going by what we know have called for Joshua’s mandatory then it makes sense, they gave multiple extensions by all accounts from Eddie so I say fair play. It’s a shame the Wilder fight wasn’t made, the reason I say I don’t like the fight is that imo Povetkin doesn’t deserve the shot at the straps, I mean I’ll say it with anyone else Boxing or MMA if you’ve been popped for PED’s then you shouldn’t be allowed to compete professionally again let alone get a chance to become a Unified world champion. It’ll be interesting to see where the script goes after DW VS JP and this one, sod knows what Wilder will do but I want that fight to happen so bad. Anyway as a boxing fan and a supporter of AJ I’ll be buying this one for sure I’ve paid for his last 8 fights so I won’t break habit now I just hope he don’t get knocked out by the chubby Russian

Yeah I see where you’re coming from, I’m just not feeling this one although I will buy and watch it just doesn’t get me excited. But then again I got excited for the Parker fight and although there were some variables that made the fight below par the build up was great. Just hope AJ doesn’t drop the ball and get put on his back

Maybe stick a tenner on Povetkin you’d probably get some decent odds

I was chatting to some old paddy down my local 2 days before the world cup started, he showed me his betting slip, he'd put £10 on harry kane to get the golden boot, no idea what odds he got though

must have been at least 15-1 I would've thought?
