I actually think Joshua is live in this. Haye was always extremely low volume against super heavies. Valuev, klitschko and even Audley. Parker become low volime because he was wary of joshuas power and parker jas a granite chin and his handspeed is as fast as Hayes I think itd be a close fight as haye has way quicker feet than parker and would be on the run for 12 rounds, depends if haye landed more potshots than joshua did jabs. Haye wouldnt ko joshua, it took him 10 years to ko monte barett and if joshua could survive klitschkos right hand he can survive hayes. Close on points wither way
I agree, Haye was extremely cautious in his fights against the bigger guys. However, I still give the edge to Haye to land something big first.
Think haye but its a difficult one. Parker reminded me of a slower softer punching haye at the weekend. I think he,d get something off on Joshua tho. But there,s a big risk of Joshua....klitchko,ing haye. Its hard to give up a big height/reach advantage fighting against the tactics the bigger guys are using nowadays. I,d have joshua favourite in that fight...but would fancy haye to get something off and knock him out. If that makes any sense. Joshua not quite mastered that klitchko style. Fancied haye from day one to knock Joshua out. But with Joshua changing his tactics slightly recently hes a lot harder nights work for prime haye....than he once was anyway.
Very true, apologies. I never liked Haye in his prime and I'm not a fan of the AJ hype which prompted me to say it. Back to the OP
On paper you would think this is a cracking fight however it comes down to how ambitious Haye is in the fight. He could keep out Joshua's way the whole fight and try and steal it kinda like he did against Valuev. 50-50 fight for me
