If Haye goes for it he's only got 4 good rounds in him and he starts blowing. Stamina was always a major problem with David. Haye also has the problem of getting inside Joshua's very good jab and booming long right. Remember how AJ broke Dillian Whyte up with that right hand. Haye showed no inclination to take the fight to Klitschko and I don't imagine him doing it against Joshua. He gats broken up on the outside and stopped, maybe KO'd in 7 or 8.
lol I thought that the thread starter inferno was back for a minute!! Fool got run off a message board lmao.
He denied it of course and claimed a mod proved it (which didn't happen) but I recall the consensus view was that they were the same poster.
Think joshua would have to start a strong favourite with the size, height/reach weight advantage. But would anyone be surprised if haye knocked him out. Anyone that can punch is a massive danger for joshua. Hence the reason their talking about and lining up pulev, usyk and fury. Looks to me like their going to keep him away from decent punchers. Not convinced a guy like joshua is forced to fight who the organisations want him to fight.
I think the Joshua that steamed rolled through Sprott,Skelton, Brezeale, Whyte, Johnson and Martin would be too much for Haye. But this version who scrapped by Klitschko and gave some rather stinky performances against Parker Takam Povetkin and the blob Ruiz would probably get knocked out. The bodybuilder hasn't looked the same the last couple of years. That explosive power and speed he had isn't quite what he use to be.
Easy enough fight to call IMO. Haye was very elusive and AJ can struggle with smaller guys. AJ would find Haye very hard to nail and Haye would catch AJ with something big and close the show. AJ much easier to nail than Wladimir Klitschko.
Povetkin, Klitschko and Whyte are all good punchers. AJ fought them all in only 23 fights. He doesn’t avoid them.
Prime Haye was never a world class heavyweight. He’s too small for AJ. AJ could keep him on the end of the jab or he could hurt him with an inside hook when Haye got close. AJ by stoppage or points(if Haye didn’t go for it).
Tbf povetkin was 40. Klitchko was 41 and whyte was raw at that stage. By the looks of it after ruiz....he is gonna be avoiding them if they can help it anyway. For the best bearing in mind all the guys you listed hurt him at some stage of their fights.
Power is the last thing to go.they all hit hard and hit AJ with some hard shots. He doesn’t have a weak chin as a lot of people like to claim he has. He has a decent chin. Ruiz hurt him with a shot to the mastoid bone and his equilibrium went. If anyone is avoiding punchers in the heavyweight division it’s Wilder. Only fought Ortiz and he hasn’t tested his power against anyone in the top 10.
Disagree tbh. Joshuas chins not up to it imo. Hes got a bit lucky in that a lot of guys approached the fight with him the wrong way. A lot of them thought he had big stamina problems. Gameplan was to stay safe not exchanging with him try to take him to the later rounds then he,ll tire. The problem was he was taking them out before it got that far and they overrated his stamina problems. I still say joshua has good stamina...its only when he gets hurt his stamina plummets. Molina, parker and a lot of guys made that mistake the rest of the decent guys that exchanged caused him real problems because his chin is vulnerable. Thats povetkin hurt him. Whyte hurt him. Klitchko hurt him. Andy ruiz wiped him out. About the only four decent guys that tried to actually exchange with him. The rest of the decent guys pretty much tried to wait for him to tire. The gameplans well and truely out there to beat him after ruiz now tho.....Try to take him out. Hence the reason they,ve tried to change his game and looks like their going for non punchers.
