Pure greed, pure and simple. These PPV cards are worse that the old bog standard Saturday night events. PPVs started off with big fights with a very strong undercard for £15, now they've gradually increased the price and diluted the content. As others have said, people are struggling to feed their kids and these greedy *******s are selling us a false narrative that they are doing this for the 'fans'. If I had one wish, I'd recreate Trading Places with myself and Hearn, with a slight plot change from the movie. Hearn to get bummed by the Gorilla (Not John Ryder) live on IFL.
Cannot believe Eh Day did not get one of those England Ladies Rugby players to KO Pudding Whyte tonight
The AJ card is stacking up to look very nice especially the undercard but £25 is quite abit especially in these times
The bud is a full oak tree if you ask me. 16 quid it was 5 years ago. 66% increase in a 5 years when it took however long to get to 16. Which is also too much considering the PPV are 9 times out of 10 a main event plus 6 terrible mismatches.
Only proper fans will boycott. The Instagram brigade will keep Eddie hiking it up as they NEEEED the attention on insta for their pic of their tv screen. Despite everyone else having the same.
They don't mate. They really, really don't. I've posted about that 'fight' before and I don't want to repeat myself but so, so many of those that will buy the PPV will not know what an exhibition bout is (a predetermined WWE style sparring bout). In fact quite a few will simply see the headline Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones and automatically order it without even looking at the exhibition bit. Not saying all those ordering it will be like that but a significant number believe they're paying to watch a real fight not that they'll be overly disappointed with the amount of booze and coke in their system.
Imagine if The Octopus moved up to HW and fought The Skirt. Actually don't imagine that. It may well lead to insanity.
Got 2 nice prospects facing off. Conway and cissokho and some others like bakole vs kuzmin which will be nice and a world title fight with okolie so a decent undercard and if you don’t think so then wow. And yes my spelling was bad earlier so had to fix it lol
It would be ok if it was free but for £24.99 we expect much better.Back in the day there were world title fights on the under card on ppv events
I agree it’s not a brilliant undercard but a massive upgrade on usual undercards which people have to say. 2 world title fights 1 prospect fight 1 Average heavyweight fight 1 fringe world level heavyweight fight That’s pretty good overall for a card especially in this situation
I dont think so, so yes wow I couldn't care less if the fate of the planet was on the line, it sill wouldn't be enough to interest me in a Okolie fight Hughie vs Watch has the potential to make Joe Joyce seem like Usain Bolt The Conway fight is a decent Sat night fight Kuzmin vs Bakolie is fairly intriguing admittedly And a mando that people just want to be over and done with

I would have less qualms if we didn't have the Chisora and Whyte PPVs, Joshua is undoubtably a PPV fighter and the card is not bad but the extra fiver is cheeky considering the other PPVs. Then again £25 seems a bargain value wise comparatively to paying £20 for the disgrace of a PPV and card that Usyk Chisora was
