I would say probably round 5 or 6. Joshua may start patiently but it's only a matter of time until he turns it up and finishes Takam.
I am picking Takam by KO after 6 rounds. I think he schools AJ, and when AJ starts huffing and puffing Takam will be all over him.
Lol no my body is my temple and is 100% clean. In fact, that's why I am so angry. Third month of cold turkey nicotine cessation.
Also thanks for editing the poll to satisfy my OCD! (and my fuming hatred of the wastes of carbon that come in and vote on polls after the fact hoping to look smart... )
AJ is going to pick apart and destroy this guy. 6'1" vs 6'6" AJ will be smashing his jab into Takam with ease and opening him up. Takam stays way out of range slowly getting hurt and backing up. Not long before Takam hits the ropes and AJ unleashes his devastation on him. AJ KO in round 3-4. Takam fails to land 1 PUNCH. 1 punch! I am serious! No man is touching AJ but Tyson Fury in this era.
Working on it, friend. Baby steps. A lot of the crazy shit in my personal life began to settle to a baseline of tolerable chaos in the last year or so. I finally quit smoking on August 1st. Then a week later got diagnosed with an inguinal hernia, which quickly incarcerated. Had that out September 25th, still technically in recovery but have returned to work under lifting/intense physical activity restrictions until November. Soon, though, I'll be dipping my toes in the ring, and knowing me, won't be long before I'm building up a head of steam and getting into gym wars, and then...maybe in 2018, finally, there'll be a BoxRec page with my name on it...
Takam is clearly very much against it in this, and it'd take a perfect storm for him to win - but this is silly. Takam is so underrated by so many that it's ridiculous.
Here's a prediction for y'all. Takam survives until AJ gases - then takes him OUT. "And the new..." Hehe.
Lol!! That'd be hilarious. I wish I could put any hope on that, realistically the height difference between Takam and Joshua is probably a bit too much (more than twice the difference between Parker and Joshua) - so Takam's skill and strength will be a bit negated purely on those grounds when it comes to comparing with Povetkin and Parker.... which makes comparison a bit less valid, but I think he is still more of a live body than people expect. If Takam makes Joshua work to earn this win then the likely outcome will be UK fans will do what they've always done with this kind of thing - Joshua made the fight interesting, as opposed to acknowledging that Parker's win over Takam was credible even if not dominant. If Joshua cuts through Takam like some are expecting, no one can argue with that - I'll see him as even scarier than I saw him before, or perhaps I've misread where I put Takam... which I'd currently consider as one of Joshuas 3 toughest opponents.
I hope a lot of people are shitting hats after this. The stupid thing is people are bagging out AJ for being overrated as opposed to realising that Takam (and anyone who has beaten him) are perhaps closer to the top than they expected. If after this weekend anyone's stock should have fallen to where it deserved to be, and where I've been saying it should be - it's Dillian Whyte's.
