The poll currently is : 16 people voted for Takam and 14 for AJ including me.Are you guys trolling or something ? Takam is solid top 10ish ~ heavyweight but nothing more than that.AJ will win by KO probably mid rounds easily.
Takam KTFOs the china-chinned Englishman. Beats him down like a rented mule. Glass WILL shatter. Takam doesn't need more than a fortnight to prepare for the one-dimensional, robotic Englishman. Sparring this week, taper next. All good.
AJ-Jealousy train is full-steam ahead today! Either that or Wilder has 18 alts on ESB. Takam is tough but not tough enough, AJ stoppage by round7 or 8.
i like takam as a opponent better than pulev in terms of spectacle i beleive pulev would have tried to spoil /complain to the ref /hold and just try to use a jab and clinch making an ugly fight. takam is a much more fan friendly fight. takam IMO will not fold easily either and will need grinding down the 1 or 2 round blowout some people are predicting cannot have seen much of takam if anything at all he has good feet early / knows what he is doing /has a solid chin /has a lot of physical strength / but on the downside he is giving away a lot of height /length /speed / to aj will have to be prepared to take power punches to get inside and when he does he is only a heavy clubbing arm puncher no real snap on his shots . aj showed v wald he knows how to blcok /slip a left hook which is takam favourite power punch. takam on offense is not a bad fighter /rumbles forward using his tank like build but his offense when not using his jab is basic and throws to wide a combos but his streught looks predigous and some shots will land. aj is much more shorter and precise puncher in his offense and obviously hits harder. aj is not going to lose many rounds as takam is passive faking and feinting for the first 2 mins tries to wait for the last min to let his hands go. this could go the distance / although i think when takam legs slow down he is going to start shipping a lot of leather and joshua will win in 7 to 10 rounds.
I think stylistically this is an easier fight for AJ. A man who is small and who lunges forward, is open in the pocket for shots. Pulev would have been more difficult to break down with his jab, holding when close, and if he was stick to a game plan of jab and move difficult to break down. For me AJ stops Takam in about 4 rounds. Made to measure for AJ. He will pose AJ some problems during the first 2-3 rounds, but AJ will be able to land his biggest shots on Takam.
Power and Size are important. Just look at Ali's KO rate against people his size, compared to people much smaller than him. The results are irrefutable!
Ok, Takam is a pretty decent challenger, but I have an idea people are taking the **** here. Joshi KO7
Is takam really as good as the people voting for him think he is? I'm not gunna lie I'm surprised it's this close.
