Agreed with everything you said except for the last bit. The Klitschko era was the worst era in HW history.

People only think about Morrison getting knocked out by Bent but he was a pretty solid fighter and imo better than Andy Ruiz. Id favor Aj but only slightly and I certainly wouldn't put money on it

Ruiz knocked AJ out because AJ landed a beautiful combination on him and thought he was more hurt than he was when he got up. Ruiz fast hands caught AJ going in for the kill. Morrison never recovered that quickly from any knockdown.
Morrison’s left hook could theoretically win him almost any fight but in actuality the odds are against him here.
92-93 Morrison has best chance post the Bentt fight he showed real slippage whether from partying or the virus. He was pushing a lot of his punches in the Purrity bout and even the Ruddock bout. By time Lewis got him he was done.

AJ by ko. I don't dislike tommy morrison he was entertaining and seemed like a pretty nice guy but I do think he is consistently overrated.

I think it's a little better then what we are in to be honest. Maybe not by a lot, but a little

Morrison didn’t fight any of them during their era.

Ray Mercer went toe to toe with Holyfield wheras Mike Tyson got stopped by him, ate Morrisons left hook like breakfast and then Destroyed him, and that Lennox Lewis fight itseif is better than anything Somebody like Parker or Usyk has done.

Let me ask you think. Name 5 opponents of this era that would beat Mercer and how. Because it seems like you have to be on some strong ****

I don't think Noneck was born when Mercer was in his prime...

If we're talking about reality, not fantasy land...

Fury, Usyk, and Joshua outbox him on his best night. Wilder, if he still has top form left, could either outpoint him or stop him but it's a shakier bet than the others.

If it were an "off" night, which was the rule and not the exception for Mercer, he could lose to literally anyone in the top 15.

He had no prime. He blew hot and cold in the best of times.

Outbox him in his best night ? Lennox Lewis couldn't even pull that off he had to go head to head with Mercer and if you want to cherry pick an off night then i will too. Remember when fury had an off night and got punched up by Otto Wallin and got clipped and hurt in the last round ? or when Joshua got smacked around the ring by Andy Ruiz, the same Ruiz who lost to parker ?

Lol and didnt Usyk have trouble with chisora until chisora gassed ? Dont even mention Wilder in the same sentence with Ray Mercer.

Fury still has a zero after all of it, and, truth be told, Ruiz is more dangerous than Mercer when motivated...faster hands, more power, better fundamentals. You're reaching so hard that you're bringing up the Parker fight, which Ruiz made razor close in New Zealand while abandoned by his trainer. And Parker might beat Mercer too.

Go watch Mercer's fights against Ferguson, Holmes, Marion or whatever that journeyman's name was, Witherspoon, and get back to me about how great he was.

Mercer was inconsistent, but Tim Witherspoon was by no means a journeyman, he was a top contender. He is actually someone I'd favour over AJ, unlike the overrated Morrison who struggled with actual journeymen.

Against a nobody lol and Ruiz has faster hands but any evidence he has more power ? He went the distance with quite a few of journeyman and better fundamentals? Based on what ? You're showing me so much of your stupidity its not even funny. And Holmes is an all time great, past his prime when he fought Mercer but still incredibly skilled. He would have Schooled the **** out if Ruiz and outpointed parker as well. Wait Ruiz got dominanted by Aj on points if im not mistaken. Aj won every single round and thats not even his natural style. He had an off night didnt he ? :risas3:
