That's a great point actually, I keep forgetting this is Hearns last card with Sky, I think you've nailed it. Yeah I agree, I think Usyk beats AJ, not sure he will get the decision though if as I expect it goes to the judges.
I believe him regarding the mental health issues, but completely agree with you about the charity donation. I’m surprised he’s never been properly pressed on that actually. It’s a very unethical thing to make those claims about.
Exactly. Joshua has to keep up the act of being whiter than white. I get it because his sponsorship deals are clearly very lucrative, so I'd get why he wouldn't wanna break character and jeopardise that kind of money. But it's just an act, as he's clearly trained to be very media savvy. Tyson, on the other hand, is a flat-out liar. One who will lie about ANYTHING. That charity lie was disgusting.
His mental health issues are light/minor, though. People go on likes he's done a spell in Broadmoor ffs. He's more Peter Pan than anything else.
How do you know how severe his mental health issues were/are? Do you know what goes on behind closed doors? The fact that you seem so adamant is a bit fanatical. I would say that it's clear that he was going through a particularly bad spell, but I couldn't really comment on how severe the mental health issues were as I'm not privy. But old Brixton Bomber can apparently sit there behind his computer and formulate a psychiatric report from IFL TV clips.
I have posted before that he looks more ADHD than mental health but not an expert so I could be harsh on the man - look at Gary Speed for example and I would never have known he had such serious issues by his demeanor or appearance. As for the Charity Donation, where is your evidence that his purse never went to said Charity. If there was a statement made by a senior employee of the Charity stating that Fury never made that donation then fair enough. You don't like Fury - fair enough we all have different opinions.
To be fair I’ve not seen an interview where Fury has been pressed in depth on ANYTHING controversial like exactly how he got himself well and he’s written a book on that subject... talk to someone and train hard everyday fills the entire book. He’s never addressed the charity donation and despite an autobiography he’s never addressed the Nandralone findings and his ban. I’m a cynic anyway but the mental health card seemingly brushed everything including all the homophobic and sexist old Testament stuff under the rug. His PR team must be worth every penny.
Yet people call AJ the fake. Don't get me wrong, AJ is clearly a roadman. And the tongue thing he does is disgusting, you can see the bully in him. But there's watching your step and there's being a lowlife. Tyson is the latter.
He's a corporate sell out...him and wilder are conmen.joshua is a class act imo whether you like him or not he's a professional sportsman who's conducted himself like a champion and is truly a "fighting man"
Difficult for any of us to know. I think in general re: mental health it's better to give people the benefit of the doubt. If he really was suicidal then it's a horrible place to be in.
Give over. It's always something with Fury. He's a pathological liar. Oh, when AJ taunts his opponent's when he has them hurt.
It's up to you whether you believe Fury about mental health, but I think it's better to give him the benefit of the doubt IMO. Clearly we're not going to agree on that though so probably pointless to continue discussing that. Oh I see - I like that, adds a bit of spice.
