You have no clue about nutrition. Every cell in our body runs on sugar (glucose). Refined sugar is normally sucrose or fructose, but can also be glucose (dextrose). Pre-McDonaldisation China, and still rural china, are among the slimmest on earth and they are smashing in the refined sugars. Read "The China Study" or even The Starch Solution. The UK or USA are not a fat nation because of sugar. They're fat nations because of fat, primarily, and also protein. Tell the Kenyans who are smashing in the bananas and ugali that their refined sugars are making them fat. Sugar is a ****ing nutrient, not a drug. The UK and USA are fat because they're consuming endless animal products.
