Campbell wants to be known as Campbell, not Ricky's son, but walks to the ring in Man City gear with Blue Moon and Oasis playing.

Needs taking off these big shows, especially so high up the card as it's an insult to other fighters.

Get what you're saying regarding AJ's opposition but IMO he did the best he could under the circumstances.

Wlad had been reinstated as the No.1 HW after Fury failed a drugs test and retired, you can talk about Wlad's age etc. but he was still the main man at HW after Fury had a meltdown, you can only beat what's in front of you. Parker was a unification fight with a world champ. Povetkin was a mandatory and considered the best available fight for AJ at the time. Takam was a last minute replacement for Povetkin. Ruiz was a bad, bad loss but AJ to his credit came back to win practically every round in the rematch.
Only name not on there is Wilder but pretty sure it's well documented that it's Deontay who walked out of negotiations, AJ wanted the fight Wilder did not.

I am not sure either wanted it, TBH. In the beginning Wilder seemed eager to get a shot at him but Hearn seemed dishonest in his dealings.

Later Wilder started asking for outrageous splits despite not having headlined a PPV. Once Wilder had Fury in his sights he was never going to take anything less than 50/50 in a bout with Joshua.

The plan would have been, beat Fury in a big PPV bout then fight Joshua for all the marbles. Unfortunately things did not go his way.

Smith-Fowler would be a good co-main event. Maybe a Chisora, Parker, Scott Fitzgerald sort of fight.

    ChisOra is fighting Parker.
Scott Fitzgerald is hardly a bigger name than Callum Smith or Okolie.

Smith vs Fowler is easily capable of a headliner. If they put that on as co Main. What fight would headline the October card from the current schedule? Which give you an indication of who is in camp etc

only one I would have liked would be the hrgovic fight to build a AJ fight down the line

A decent British Title fight wouldn’t go amiss on these shows- whilst I understand DAZN are a global brand the show is still taking place in Britain.

I’d prefer well matched fights than these showcases- I know why the PPV cards are “stacked” this way but it makes for a long boring undercard more often than not.
