If we see another timid, gun-shy performance by AJ and this one goes to the scorecards, then i'd say AJ's KO days are over. He'll get steamrolled by Wilder and his future in the sport is shot.
AJ needs to get on a steep improvement curve to be competitive with Fury or Wilder and we know he can't beat Usyk.
It's worse than that, it's £26.99 in UK and Ireland. To be honest, it deserves to bomb at that price. It should be included for free like it is for the other countries with DAZN. It's not so bad for me in Japan. I wouldn't pay extra for it though.
This was such an obvious cash out fight to make by Hearn on his two shot HWs. It’s the biggest money fight out there for both of them. It allows him to drag the final value out of Whyte. My only surprise in this was that he gave AJ the Franklin fight before this which achieved absolutely nothing. AJ batters Whyte and stops him at some point. Whyte is physically shot whilst AJ is more mentally shot. You cannot see any possibility that Whyte manages to avoid a big punch from AJ the entire fight and sees the final bell. His defence is extremely poor especially when backing out of exchanges.
I am just happy to see a heavyweight fight made. Eddie has been planning this rematch for a long time it is well past the used by date but I still think it will be entertaining while it lasts. Whyte will press the action AJ will be cautious after a few rounds even a cautious AJ will land a power shot and that will be the beginning of the end for Whyte who will likely be KO'd in brutal fashion once again for our entertainment.
If they did not arleady fought in amatours and pro it be ok fight against two top 10 guys but we arleady seen that i rather see aj against somone new even from top 20-40, hes not a beltolder anymore he could have a quick ko win and I would be ok with that
