I still think it's huge fight, and i will watch it with big interest. People should stop look so much at fighter resume and if he had 0, 1 or 5 loses, but his actual skills, whether is he in his prime and etc. If you fighting a top opposition you will either have a bad night, or someone could have your number, or you will just lose to a better prepared fighter that night. Nothing wrong and nothing bad in that. Just look at most UFC top fighters, all of them have loses in their records, which still doesn't take anything from their leveling field. That 0-zero is hurting a lot of fights to happen in a lot of fighters prime, and they duck and duck and duck, and try to get the right fight at the right time.
Wilder's recent losses/ mental health will not come into it. Hearn will not risk another loss in Joshua's next fight. Expect 2 or 3 bums (Eddie will call them dangerous/avoided top 10/15 HWs) to try and build Joshua's confidence up again. And to be honest that is exactly what I would do in Hearn's shoes
Yes that's right. I think Wilder has fought bum after bum (besides Fury) and I think he has terrible boxing technique. However if one of his windmills landed on Joshua he would be in big trouble
I would prefer to watch this than the Uysk vs Fury fight. At least it is guaranteed to have a few exciting moments in it.
I can see Joshua going the way of Apollo Creed. Getting beating twice in the 2 fights to Rocky. ( Usyk) Then coming back out of retirement and getting killed by Wilder ( Drago) .
Wilder vs Joshua will never happen Wilder vs Usyk is extremely unlikely to ever happen Fury vs Usyk will definitely happen and it will be in 2023 Fury vs AJ will probably happen in 2024 as Fury’s final fight
