Obviously the crowd etc favour UK but Eddie said on 5live the other day a Vegas fight would bring the most money.

Are you kidding? Mayweather beat Gatti, Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya before Hatton, he was a boxing superstar and AAA-side in the fight with Hatton. Wilder earned 2.1 million dollars for the fight with Ortiz, AJ earned 10 million (or even more) pounds for the fight with Takam,

    :duh

Hatton made more money in that fight and had a much much bigger fanbase than Floyd. Floyd was in no way the A-side. Hatton even had more fans in the Arena in Vegas, where Floyd lives lol.

By your logic, why didn't boxing superstar Floyd come to the UK and make more money selling out a Manchester Stadium than fighting in the MGM Grand?

Also, why did Hatton and Pacquiao then both fight in Vegas? Either one could have sold out a stadium in their own country. At the time the pound was much much stronger than it is now also. Why oh why would they fight in the US????? It's a f*cking mystery.

Stop embarrassing yourself you Eddie Hearn b*tchboy.

I'd want it in the UK being British obviously, and I think it would be a better 'spectacle' in the UK, but if Eddie reckon Vegas is where the profit is I think it'll probably end up there. I don't think it'll be anywhere else in USA apart from Vegas.

I also have a feeling Joshua would really like a Vegas fight like a lot of boxers do.

Says the country who can pay its marquee HW champion regular 8 figure paydays

Says the country who can fill out arenas with 80,000 fans regularly

Says the country who gave Golovkin (at the time) his highest ever purse against a career welterweight

Says the country who can charge PPV for Tony Bellew vs David Haye TWICE and TWICE fill out arenas.

Why are American fighters clamouring to sign with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom promotions?

It's not even £25.It's 16.95 for most Boxing Matches and £19.95 for Big Events like Mayweather/Mcgregor or Joshua/Klitschko

That reflects badly on UK Fans paying PPV twice to watch a meaningless-fake rivalry between two of the most average/loudmouth fighters in David Haye and Tony Bellew both looking for their pension money.Haye is old and past it.Bellew was always bang average. They had to build up a fake rivalry to sell it to UK Fans. Why would they hate eachother when they have secured eachother's families, they kissed eachother at the end and now have prepared Heist number 2.

The casinos put up big money to stage the fight. Hatton fans took over Vegas that weekend (I was one of them). They packed the arena and filled closed circuit venues around the city, famously drinking it dry. Mayweather fans were very few and far between. Floyd made his mega-money largely off the back of more popular fighters - Gatti, DLH, Hatton, Pacquaio. Credit to him though - Floyd is a smart businessman.

Mayweather's fight and PPV revenue came from around the globe.....

Canelo's PPVs come mainly from Mexicans.

Pac's PPV days are over because Top Rank cannot market him properly anymore.

The other PPV guys are barely crossing 200,000 buys.

Matchroom PPV events have always been purchased by UK PPV customers.

Floyd sold himself and has done so for years.

Outside of Floyd and Canelo, who else has the US market been able to promote to such a degree?
