You did a very good job breaking it down. I think Galvatron was right when he wrote
They cant dispute what you wrote but only wanted to know the opinions of other fans

I'm from the UK.Hatton-Mayweather/Mayweather-Pacquaio/Mayweather-Mcgregor all broke Sky Box Office records at the time.Mayweather is not even British and people still bought his fights imagine what Joshua can do.Brits will still buy the fight at 5am in the Morning.Wilder and Joshua both need to fight on the same card in America or within a couple of weeks eachother it will really build intrest.2018 is too early,2019 is more reasonable for a successful US PPV.Joshua cant just stay in the UK and Rot,the honeymoon period will end he needs to become Global.US,Nigeria,Dubai etc

being one of the idiots you are refering to i still am too stupid to understand.

you are saying because we get charged $25 dollars to watch a ppv which IMO is robbery we already pay a sports subscription that you in america paying $75 for the same fight is good ?

if he wins joshua can become a major global star by beating wilder in america ?

you have lost me how the **** does 300k americans watching a fight on tv and 10k watching live make joshua a star ?

your big boxing shows start when the european tv/ africa tv /and middle east markets are fast asleep

so you have your south american market and canada to aim at .

boxers were last superstars when tv stations were free

ppv stations make boxers money but they do not and will never make boxers the superstars that you claim they can be by fighting in america.

What Major Sports Network? I presume it's Showtime given they are the Network who have both Wilder and Joshua under contract.

300k ppv numbers will make neither boxer a star
in fact it will hide them away from america

to put thew 300k numbers you keep on quoting into perspective

17 million people in the uk me one of them watched benn v eubank 1

the the uk has about 26 million propertys .
population at the time was i think 52 to 55 million in the census
    now thats exposure

you go on about the wembley gate as opposed to las vegas

from memory klitchko v joshua sold out the first day thats 90k tickets

just like a superbowl they price them for the common man but tickets end up changing hands by crooked secondary markets for a lot more

they could have doubled the price of the joshua v klitchko tickets and they still would have sold out

there is no cross over in america any more
not unless joshua does films/comedy on chat shows /

he does not have the gift of the gab like an ali to do that.

boxing in america and the uk are now hardcore niche only sports .

boxing is the quitesential working class sport both fighters and fans and yet you are argueing that american tv and american arenas rips off its fans more than uk tv and arenas so the fight should be in usa.

People bought those BC Hatton is British and its Mayweather...this has absolutely no relevance to Wilder and ppvs even if he was fighting superman.

Joshua fighting Wilder in Vegas only makes sense IF Wilder actually has a U.S ppv his next fight or a Joshua rematch in 2019. Assuming they fight at Wembley next year.

Wilder would already have to be a US PPV draw for the fight to happen there. It’s just to risky otherwise, from a business point of view.

And as for Joshua becoming a superstar in the US by beating Wilder in the US, well that’s not likely to happen off the back of that. Wilder would surely have to be a superstar himself, first.

People are also overlooking Joshua’s numbers from elsewhere in the world, and across Europe, which would no doubt be affected by the fight happening in the US.

I’m sure Joshua will do the PPV’s in the US, but it will be over several fights, and a large marketing campaign as, like I said, there are no superstars to dethrone over there for instant success.

So Joshua is not British ? People will still buy Joshua v Wilder at 5 in the Morning you're not understanding that.

Every day it just gets worse for Joshua's fans. You're far worse than Pac's fans used to be and they were the TBE of the worst posters ever. Far worse. At least Pac has never been accused of ducking anyone so they had a right to overrate him.

You overrating Joshua at the expense of Wilder is hilarious to read. They will either fight or Joshua will clearly duck him. You guys love this ***** and he ****en hates your guts. He didn't say Superior Blackman for nothing. You can love that fraud if you want, and until he fights Wilder, he is seen as a Grace A ***** in my book.

Who is defending Wilder? His resume is not good, to put it nicely, and his form is not good either. But he looks the part and usually finished his opponents.

Im simply stating what Richard Schaefer did. I think hes made more big fights and has a better grasp of the UK/US markets and how this fight will do than most of the braniacs here at the ESB forums.

    Let me repeat.

Richard Schaefer has done more in boxing than all of you combined could do in 10,000 lifetimes. He has a grasp of the markets and how this fight will do. He has put together many big fights. Why do you guys think you know more than him?

But of course when he speaks he has an agenda right? Hes the only guy right now that speaks with an agenda right?
