This is close, I'm a AJ fan but I'm Split right down the middle just so little between them. WLAD's advantages are intelligence, experience, better on the outside, jab, punch accuracy and better defence whereas AJ's advantages are speed, power, youth, better on the inside, better combo puncher and better on the offensive. They are both better in there own ways and I'm changing my mind on who wins everyday. In my opinion it depends on 2 things. How much the time from boxing affects WLAD and how the fight starts. If wlad establishes his jab and range it is gunna be a difficult night for AJ and can see a WLAD win on points whereas if AJ forces WLAD back due to his power I see a KO around round 5.
I dont post garbage i post facts if not CONCRETE points which most dont want to hear because it then goes against what they WISH to believe! All those pretenders on that thread wouldn't know how to break down a egg alraedy cracked ,nothing but cheerleaders and worship ,which i found amusing!
I think the consensus that we'd like to see more of AJ before we declare him better than Ali and Tyson, is not unreasonable
Wlad's gonna knock Joshua out. Joshua won't box like Fury and doesn't have the reach either. Wlad ko 9
Joshua has been fighting his own blown up versions of Di Mori and Gjarbag, lacks rounds and experience. Wlad KO8.
If Wlad fights the way he did against Fury Joshua wins. If Wlad peppers the jab from long distance, clinches and lays on Joshua he will win a boring decision, even late KO.
, I never said he was better than Tyson and he obviously would hold to many advantages style wise and physically over Ali,take it to the other thread ,im pretty sure i shattered this already'!The consensus would be im right if they were BOTH competing today ,as a matter of fact EVERYONE here would be calling it a mismatch the only thing stopping them is nostalgia and critical thinking skills.
Tough fight to call. You got joshua, a powerful up and coming fighter. Wladimir is known to have trouble against hard punchers. When Wladimir gets hit, he's all over the place. Only reason it hasn't happened for the past decade is because he's mastered the Lennox style, even though Lennox was a much better boxer. Joshua has the ability to remind people of Wladimir's foot work flaws when he's hurt. On the other hand, Joshua doens't move his head enough. He has hardly no lateral movement, which could have problems with Wladimir's jab. Overall, I think Joshua stops Wladimir in the early rounds, if he can't, then you'll see Wladimir's jab become a force in that fight. A lot of people will say well Wladimir couldn't jab Tyson Fury, the big difference is though, Fury was not there to be hit. He had good movement in that fight, made it hard for Wladimir to throw punches. The same won't be said for Joshua. He won't box the way Fury did. He won't move his feet nor his head like Fury did.
Your post is flawed,Joshua doesn't move his head much bc he uses a catch and counter style,he doesnt waste energy and provides himself with the necessary movements to counter a punch or avoid one.He has excellent timing and judging space between him and the target,Wlad is going to have minimal opportunities to land any sort of consectutive punches.
