    Who's better in these categories?

    Punching power
    Speed
    Reflexes
    Timing
    Jab
    Left hook
    Right uppercut
    Straight right
    Mentality
    Experience

I think as of now, AJ vs today's Wlad

    Punching power - equal
    Speed - AJ
    Reflexes - AJ slightly
    Timing - AJ
    Jab - Wlad
    Left hook - Wlad
    Right uppercut - AJ
Straight right - AJ (better timing of right hand today)
Mentality - Don't know, hard to say
Experience - Wlad, and by much

Power- AJ, Wlad's punches don't have the same snap and explosiveness as they used to imo
    Speed- AJ
    Reflexes- AJ
    Timing- AJ
    Jab- Wlad
    Left hook- Wlad
    uppercut- AJ
    straight right- Wlad
mentality- Hard to tell, Is Wlad determined to erase the stigma of the Fury loss or is he looking for a retirement cheque? Will Joshua be intimidated by the task?
    Experience- Obv Wlad

    Power goes to Wlad.

His 10th best win via stoppage trumps ALL of AJ's stoppages.

With all due respect, how does power go to Wlad?

AJ being the much younger man is going to have many of the physical advantages going in. For Wlad to win he's going to have to use every bit of guile and expercience he's got.

How? Are you serious? Wlad has ICED world class fighters. Many of them. AJ hasn't done that to one.

Wlad's left hook is atomic, his right hand is nuclear, his jab is painful as heck.

Note that this is for the Wlad now, not prime Wlad:

Punching power - can't say yet, both very powerful. Of late it's AJ
    Speed - AJ
    Reflexes - AJ
    Timing - AJ
    Jab - Wlad
    Left hook - Wlad
    Right uppercut - AJ
Straight right - Close, both have good straight rights. I'll go for the proven weapon of Wlad's
Mentality - AJ looks more hungry to me
Experience - Wlad by a lot

    We should also add:
Chin - Wlad by a little, he doesn't have a great chin himself but I have my doubts about AJ's. It's the only significant ? I have about him.
    Defence - Wlad

Prediction: AJ by mid to late KO

Agree with the above, EXCEPT we should also add footwork/movement which will be crucial for this fight.

AJ fights one way which is coming forward. He has not shown any ability of lateral movement, or fighting while moving backwards. Fury was able to beat Wlad with movement and awkward angles. AJ can't afford to just walk into Wlad jabs all night.

Another thing is stamina. Can AJ go 12 rounds? The difference in experience is huge here.

Has a whiff of Holmes Tyson about it. Experience didn't help Holmes in that bout although Wlad carries more KO power than Holmes. Holmes could only win by outboxing Tyson, Wlad can win by KO or points so I rate his chances higher than Holmes in 88.

Aj is the far superior fighter!!! the ONLY bs advantage anyone can claim Wlad has over MBE is experience, Wladimir has great experience in accepting LOSSES, something Aj will never accept.

Aj is so much the better fighter, Wladimir has accomplished more ONLY due to his long career. Aj came along a decade ago there wouldn't ever had been a Wlad holding any titles.

Aj will show what great fighters do to much less fighters that are there to be taken out and accepting of losing

Hard to know where Wlad is at after the fury fight and turning 41 but footwork & balance are areas where I would say he has a big advantage over AJ. Wlad can move well for a big man but AJ seems stiff .

I'm not taking anything away from Wlad but power is close in that comparison. We know Joshua hasn't fought anyone spectacular but his power is still there just as much as Wlad. I agree as of now that wlad has an array of moves though.

Punching power Even, maybe (we haven't seen AJ against a guy with a proven chin)
    Speed AJ
    Reflexes AJ
    Timing Wlad
    Jab Wlad
    Left hook Wlad
    Right uppercut AJ
    Straight right Wlad
    Mentality Toss Up
    Experience Wlad

At this time, Vlad, if he is not rusty, will have an advantage in everything.................Vlad knows Joshua from using him in camp for sparring, it was no contest. Joshua will have had to have improved a lot, nobody knows how good Joshua really is except Vlad, he knows Joshua better than anyone. Don't underestimate Vlad's balance, footwork, quickness, power, and yes, Vlad does have an uppercut, but very seldom uses it. His left jab is much better, right hand very powerful, but his left hook is a killer............defense also, timing, remember, Vitali came back after a 4 year layoff and easily beat Sam Peter when Peter was still a real threat, Peter quit in the 8th round................and Vlad's chin is not really bad, his bad chin is a myth, he also has stamina, experience and actually earned his gold medal, Joshua lost to Camerelle, was outboxed, but home cooking gave Josha a close biased decision. Joshua looks good againt Martin, Molina, etc...............Joshua is an unknown, but Vlad knows...............Vlad also beat Wilder from one side of the ring to another, knocked him down with a jab, and flattened him with a left hook, no contest...........................

It might be in comparison, but Wlad has DEMOLISHED world class fighters with his.
