AJ was annoyed at the sound of Robert Garcia's name

Roberto García is one of the best trainers in the business.

AJ went out and did the same thing against Usyk....he should have barrelled forwards swung for the hills and missed then gassed out and accepted a KO loss.

Always was only ever a punchers chance. Garcia knows this also...Garcia telling him he is winning rounds he wasn't shows AJ is mentally poor and needs re-assurance. He kept talking to himself in the corner like his own motivational coach lmao. You're in a fight and you're getting outfoxed, time to bite down on the gumshield and lay it on the line.

 

The problem is with both when it comes to the fight they worked together. Garcia was a yes man in the corner in Usyk 2, no urgency and was convincing AJ he was doing a good job. AJ himself was doing nothing to win, he was just in there to survive and hope to land a single punch. Both to blame

 

I don't think so. There were no, zero improvements in AJ's game in the rematch.

 

AJ drinks to buy some time to think about the answer. He is clearly pissed off when garcía is mentioned.

As much as a fan I am of garcía, I understand why AJ is pissed off. I wouldnt have liked garcía's afterfight talk either. It doesnt matter if it was the truth or not, well, it's not nice for the fighter to hear that he's mentally weak.

No trainer can do nothing with AJ. This guy is an ******* who cant understand or accept his own limitations. Not to mention that even if God himself trained AJ he would NEVER EVER win to ussyk, basically because ussyk is the better fighter, easy as that.

Apart from the 9th round, which wasn't as bad as you say for Usyk, AJ has two or three more rounds if you are feeling generous.
A very convincing 8-4 clinic, with AJ looking clueless in the last two. With the first match being 9-3 or 10-2 how is that far better lol

 

AJ did much better in that Usyk didn't do any better either. I think Usyk looked worse infact. I was expecting another level but nope and that's why i'm very confident Fury gets the job done

Fury will be dancing in the corner by the 5th round like he was against Cunningham

 

There were major improvements in AJ's game.

 

I still don't see this 9th round " bad trouble" Usyk was in. it was a great round for AJ but Usyk was never really in any real trouble. Just a good round by AJ. Usyk did what great champions do and minimize the damage and kick it up a gear the next round.
