As some may know I have a machine, A secret that remains unseen, It lets me travel forth in time, And tell you all by means of rhyme, What in days to come will be, So here's tomorrow's history, Listen to me and you will learn, The result's been written by Eddie Hearn, At Wembley one September night, We'll gather to watch these Titans fight, As deal threads turn to blessed silence, We get at last to bloody violence, The opening round is tight and drab, As both men stay behind their jab, Then Wilder throws his mighty right, But AJ's guard is strong and tight, At round 4 lo the scores are locked, No knock downs yet or points been docked, But slowly AJ's mastery of form, Is weathering Deontay's storm, And soon his power begins to show, As now he lets his own right go, By 9 he leads, but then alas, He starts to pant, he starts to gas, The crowd are worried for their champ, As AJ's frame is seized by cramp, Will Wilder take the belts away, Could AJ lose to Deontay, But one man remains calm and steady, He's not worried is our Eddie, For the man that others know as ref, Is actually Eddie's Uncle Jeff, When AJ threatens to be dropped, He'll ensure that the contest's stopped, And he'll control the in ring action, To nephew Eddie's satisfaction, And after with the belts united, AJ and Eddie both delighted, Their triumph has but one small catch, The matter of a US rematch, They'll hope the ref's an honest fella, But his secret surname is DiBella,
LMAO great but i don't think this fight would last 12 rounds, somebody is getting knocked spark out and it's most likely Wilder.
I know the records of each guy suggest that, but look at AJ's approach to the Parker fight? My guess is that McCracken will send him out with a similar approach so I wouldn't discount this one going to the judges...
Joshua is a counterpuncher first and foremost, Parker fought extremely negative and didn't give him a lot of opportunities. Wilder can't be as negative as Parker or he will lose every round and he knows that. Wilder at some point will smell blood and go for the kill and that's when Joshua will counter his approach with a variety of crisp short punches, the result is Wilder laying on the floor.
Who was the last fighter AJ knocked spark out? And mean on the floor counted out unconscious? Compare to Wilder who has given men seizures and caused others to get carried out of the arena on stretchers and showed into the back of ambulances Compare the two fighter's power and there is only one man who is getting body bagged.
I don't know that it would be Wilder smelling blood as much as being outboxed and realising that he's no chance on the scorecards. That's when I'd expect him to go for broke and although AJ is the superior boxer and a good counterpunched he'd still have a punchers chance right until the final bell. Unfortunately a lot of Wilder's wins have come against 3rd or 4th rate oppposition. So they may give a slightly deceptive picture of his true level.
Wilder is a bad man making the Alabama Dance around the ring after crushing the skull of the opponent with nuclear right hand and smiling while his prey is laying on the floor, he's the devil. Joshua is the only fighter besides an in shape Fury who could dance with the devil and i'm confident he would beat him, he has the style to beat him, solid stance defense with counterpunching ability and he is definitely not featherfisted and has enough power to knockout Wilder lol. If you think otherwise give me a breakdown of the fight and only saying Wilder body bagged opponents and Joshua did not, is not enough to convince me Wilder is going to win the fight which he of course is able to do but my money would be on Anthony Joshua most definitely.
Compare the two fighters boxing ability. Joshua has it in abundance Wilder has almost none. Result = Wilder gets chinned inside 3.
Nobody has a chin which would allow him to get hit constantly by Deontay Wilder but Joshua has defense. He will be very careful, Wilder has to do something, he won't win the fight on points, he will give AJ a lot of opportunities, remember Wilder leaves himself open a lot, Joshua does not.
He has control of distance, superior footwork, equality of reach, excellent countering skills and cumulative, debilitating power. Chin may not be required.
Wilder doesn't have anything to worry about against Jenner, who now fights with fear and hesitancy in his heart after what Wlad did to him. If takam, Parker make a close fight with AJ, then Wilder will have no worries in there. I don't care how cautious you are, you're going to get clipped against Wilder since it only takes ONE punch Jenners defence in his last two fights have looked good because the opponents have given up height and reach and so they have to be wary of AJ's attack more so than the other way round. Wilder who is 6'7 and so there is nothing between them in statue. Ortiz I'd say hits harder than AJ and threw everthing at Wilder and couldn't knock him down. Granted AJ has more speed with his punches along with youth and is probably a better finisher so he's best chance is to do one of his trademark flurries with Wilder on the ropes, as that will get his matchroom ref to wave the fight off. There is no way AJ knocks Wilder out, he'd have to go in there extra heavy and go in gung ho as he use to fight before, for example the Whyte fight. And if he turns up stiff and bulked up like Ronnie Coleman, he will need to get Wilder out within 4-5 rounds. In my opinion this is an easy fight for Wilder, a tougher more trickier fight is against Fury who actually knows how to box intelligently whilst being awkward as hell.
