Someone is going to beat him so badly that his career up until this point will be largely forgotten and will end up a gatekeeper in the division he used to rule. It could be Wilder, Fury, Usyk, Joyce, or any number of the heavyweight prospects up and coming but it WILL happen.

I think he's referring to the part where Bute was being hailed as a top 10 p4p before his soul was literally chewed up and spat out by Carl Froch, to the point where Bute didn't even want the rematch which by the way would have been infront of his own fans.

Indeed. Souls are invisible so it's hard to tell but you can see Bute's soul was indeed chewed up by Froch. Froch didn't eat it though (which is why he didn't die) just greatly damaged and decayed it.
