There's still a small part of me that wonders whether this could've been another bit of Fury pantomime to build attention on him and help sell the third Wilder bout, which was contractually obligated and Fury probably would've known Wilder wanted. It's entirely possible Fury knew he wouldn't have to go through with it and played on it purely for attention. Then again, it's entirely possible he really did want to fight at that point and just didn't at all before or after, I guess?
AJ is a bodybuilding bum If the buisness makes sense he will probably be lucky to fight Fury this year...I suspect fury finds his way to a Usyk trilogy before that however, we'll see what Usyk's play is this summer.
Fury doesn't deserve another shot a Usyk! He should fight another MMA fighter, or Sefer Seferi again.
Fury had 2 bites of the cherry vs Usyk. He has not beaten a top 10 fighter since 2022; so why does he automatically qualify for a 3rd shot? He needs to beat a live, top 10 contender before even being considered for a title shot.
Yup, boxing has too many guys living off the fat of the land because of their name. Fury has to go back into the contender rankings to get a title shot at this point.
The Joshua vs Fury fight never really made sense timing wise Wilder was more at fault for it not happening back on 2018 In 2023 it was more on Joshua but at that point the fight wouldn't have meant as much anyways
I think he was trying to say Wilder vs AJ was Wilder's fault and at that time AJ vs Fury didn't make sense.
