Ajagba dropping from the Ring top ten while Bakole stayed in?

Opinions? I reckon one Anderson win and a gifted draw against the man himself do not justify being favored over the Koso, Shaw, Vianello run that Ajagba had.

Bakole is exciting to watch. He shows up to throw down.

He's never going to be more than an undercard fighter unless he drops all that excess weight, but he could be a reliably fun to watch undercard fighter.

Ajagba deserved to win his fight with Bakole.

Because of that, and because Bakole was KOed while Ajagba has kept on winning, he deserves to be ranked ahead of Bakole.

The Ring is going by the official verdict, which was a draw. If we are going to argue robberies and whatnot, then you could argue that Ajagba lost to Vianello.
You seem to have timelines mixed up. Bakole got KO´d by Parker, and then drew with Ajagba. Ajagba has not fought since.

Bakole has the stronger body of work, and his recent loss was to Parker. Ajagba hasn't done much at all, so its not surprising that the Ring would drop him for Itauma.

What people should be more upset with is the fact that Itauma is now in the top 10.

I agree the fight with Vianello was close, I thought it should have been a draw or a close win for Vianello. But as you said, they consider official results.

But Ajagba has never been KOed like Bakole was this year, by someone who is not known to be a big puncher. Bakole has been stopped twice now. And Ajagba has the good sense to take care of himself, unlike Bakole who ballooned up to over 300 pounds rather than being professional and staying in shape.

I still think the bigger controversy is Itauma being sneaked in there. Personally I think Bakole has done more to deserve a top 10 spot than Ajagba.
And also, context matters with the Bakole KO loss. He took it on very short notice, and it was a loss to one of the top contenders, if not the top contender.

I'd love to see Bakole-Itauma, it would be the perfect test for Itauma.

It's true that Itauma has yet to beat a decent opponent, Whyte is badly faded and was never much good without his PEDs. Still, I have Itauma at #10 in my HW list because of how easy he's been taking out his opponents.

They've both proven to be hype jobs and gatekeepers at best. Sure, they're not bad fighters but they're absolutely nowhere near the top 5 let alone the title.

Ajagba ducking an IBF eliminator tells you a lot.

Yeah its a bit weird that Ajagba has dropped out but Bake has stayed. Like someone said it's probably because Turki promised to look after Bakole and he owns the ring.

Ajagba also recently pulled out of his IBF eliminator which won't do him any favours. Bakole has the best win on record in Anderson, but I'm still not sure that's enough with the recent loss to Parker, they might have asterisked that loss though.

The Ring top 10 is not gospel.

Also the year end one is the only one people care about long term.

The IBF had ordered Ajagba-Sanchez in a rematch to fill their vacant #1 position. The fight was won on purse bids and Ajagba, who would have made the most money, pulled out. This may have something to do with Ajagba being removed from the Ring rankings?

Bakole is clearly better than Ajagba. Fully prepared, in decent shape(by his standards) and not coming off a very recent KO loss and he stops him convincingly. Would rather see that again than Sanchez II.

Turki has no influence over the ranking board.

Nope, Ring rankings don't take these kind of things into consideration.

Turkl owns Ring and is owning and influencing more and more of boxing by the day.
