Hahaha I watched this the other day . He should get himself to the next Edinburgh festival , my money would be on him winning the best newcomer award with this sort of material!

 

Arguably the most annoying hypeman in boxing atm.

Recall him saying in build up to Yarde fighting Polands 4th best light heavyweight that we were looking at a future 2 weight world champion.

Don't know how he came to that conclusion because you usually need an opponent to throw punches back to figure out what level someone is at.

 

he needs to shut up. He lets yarde fight dumbasses and has not even let him fight a top 10 fighter to date! he is obsessed with fighting taxi drivers and part-time fighters

One fighter ranked around 50 with 5 loses on his record is his only win worth any sort of credit.

Hose Burton is crying out for a big fight sort of been left in the wilderness by Hearn . Perfect fight for Yarde imo!!

 

Trainers have to believe in their fighters ! Making wild claims which can never be proved are not unique to Tunde ! I wouldn’t know how Tunde could prove that Yarde is the biggest puncher in the world and whilst I suspect he isn’t once again how would I actually prove that I am right. What I do find surprising is how Yarde can get such a high rating with the WBO without fighting rated opponents? I know that most of the top British Lt Heavies are with a rival promoter and whilst I don’t agree with not fighting them I actually understand. There are opponents who are available and Yarde and his camp need to step up the level of opposition.

You are not ready for that level of fighter?

If his power was WORLD CLASS you wouldn’t be ducking that level of opposition Now would you?

 

To be fair, they where chasing Buglioni with big offers. Frank choose to fight Spider Richards in front of 1 man and a dog instead and also got splattered by Johnson in 1 round in another fight.

There is an argument for Burton I guess, but I don’t rate him and to me it didn’t really make any sense Yarde fighting him.

 

even if you don't rate him, you must admit he is by far and away better than what Yarde has faced, which to me anyway, does make sense for him too fight

 

Does Anthony Yarde have any fights lined up? I am a fan of his and agree with his team in being moved up slowly due to his inexperience in the ring but would like to see him in with someone at around British level in the next couple of fights.

 

To be honest, the last time I saw Burton fight, he didn’t look any better then Dariouz Sek or Sjekolca.

Maybe I need to take another look
at Hosea- I just don’t see what others do, especially when Yarde was getting hammered for not fighting him.

I will wait to see who Yarde’s next opponent is, if it’s not against somebody of a comparable standard/better then Burton then I might be more open to criticise.

 

it's not that i think Burton is some world beater or will give us all the answers we need r.e Yarde, but i just feel he is far better than what he's fought so far
