Due to overwhelming demand I've decided to provide a thread for the rest of the Sydney Autumn Carnival.

I hope you both appreciate it.

    If you are having a bet at Canterbury tomorrow there's two important factors to be aware of;

    1. Inside barriers are an advantage, especially in fields consisting of more than 8 runners AND in races =/< 1550m.

    2. Backmarkers find it very difficult to win without luck.

The best example tomorrow is Race 4 No.9 Camarilla. I have such an opinon of this mare that I've already backed her to win the G1 Doncaster Hcp but tomorrow I won't be going near her. From the 9 gate she'll go back to last and have to make a wide run approaching the turn or stick to the rails and ride for luck before the leaders are off and gone.

With this in mind I'd suggest to anyone wanting a bet in race 4 to go with the Gai Waterhouse trained gelding No.2 Rockwood.

Now let's get down to business. I explained how I'm going to make you rich but one must follow the rules of play or go down in flames. To keep it simple we'll start out bank at an even $1,000 so if you want to start at $5,000 then just multiply my bets by 5 every time or if you want to start with $200 then divide my bets by 5 EVERY TIME. Just don't go chopping and changing.

Then again you can just pick and choose at will if you like cause I aint ya daddy and I'm sure most of you can wipe your own arse.

    BANK $1,000

    BET 1: Canterbury R1 No.9 Related $20 Win

BET 2: Canterbury R2 No.1 Racing To Win $120 Win

    BET 3: Canterbury R6 No.2 Desert War $20 Win

    BET 4: Canterbury R7 No.12 Mimi Lebrock $20 Win

BET 5: Caulfield R2 No.8 Queen Of The Falls $20 Win

    Total Cost $200

Post any questions regarding tomorrow's raceday before late tonight as I won't be around on Saturday.

If you are going to have $100 on Mazuka I suggest you have a small saver on Related or Northern Meteor in the race.

Mazuka appeared a little green at his debut and I'm not convinced that the addition of blinkers will do the trick. This is a stronger field than he last met and any coltish behaviour will be costly.

As for Mimi Lebrock, she'll be at good value although Forensics and Occurrence will be tough opposition. In the end it may come down to the best ride and you can't do much better than Froggy Newitt. At set weights I can't see the older mares beating the fillies.

Like you I'm a fan of Hoystar, always have been, the horse is a beast!!!

Has only won 1 from 3 this prep so hopefully he'll do the job for both of us tomorrow at decent odds.

As for the 2,3,4, you are talking about a parlay, yeah?

I'll be having one at Caulfield with 1 horse in two legs, 2 horses in one and three horses in the other. Cost $40 for $1.

    Race 2: No 3 + 8
    Race 4: No. 2,4,5
    Race 7: No.11
    Race 8: No.8

    Have a good day.

Instead of sleeping I thought I'd check that out, not too bad, especially the potential odds out of race 4, might scratch the quaddie for that formula, like R5 9 over Race 2 though. You following the maidens in Vic?

Some pissed dude told me that "Desert Storm" is a sure thing today.

He then later went on about how all sport is set up and that the Rabbitohs will win the comp this year.

Related was the killer going down a nose at 18/1. Had he not been boxed in he would have won by 3L and taken our pool to $1160, up 16%. Unfortunately we don't get paid on "shoulda" and our pool is down to $800 after only one meeting.

This is why I don't allow my daughter to get a cat as they're not much smaller than a football and I do have anger management issues.

The good news is that for the next month the rest of the carnival is back to the bigger tracks (Randwick + Rosehill) where the best horse usually wins, not the best tactical ride.

As for Related, he has been backed in from 100/1 to 10/1 for the world's richest 2yr old event, The Golden Slipper....typical.

Anyone having a bet today should take a look at Sale Race 4 No.15 La Black (8/1) . Also have a couple of dollars each way at Kembla Race 9 No.6 Armageddon (30/1)

I'll update this page next Friday.

Yeah "Related" was a certainty beaten yesterday.

Went to the track and knocked off $1000, but the sheila's there for "Girls day out" were exceptional.
