I had a good weekend betting.

$200 on Pies to beat West Coke Eagles by 16+ @ 1.50.

    $200 on Crusaders win @ 1.36.

$200 on Port to beat Freo by 7+ @2.20.

I wanted to get on Aus to beat Iraq, but they have been spoilers for us and at 1.33, didnt take the risk.

We were somewhat fortunate to get away with the win there also.

Although we were the better team, I think we only slightly deserved to win. Iraq had a few chances, and hit the crossbar with one of them. They could have easily scored once or twice, though we could have scored again as well.

Still a good game to watch hey pecks, yeah we had some chances to score again late in the game, but i was like we didnt want to hold the ball after the 80 min mark.

I agree , lucky to get the win. Pim wasnt happy at all.

I think Pim was a great choice now, huge Asian experiance, that will really help us get to the world cup.

I missed the start, but saw the early chances they had on the highlights afterwards. It was a good game to watch. Iraq came to play and win.

I've got to say though, I'm not liking what I'm seeing with Australia though. Pim might be alright, but we really should be able to breeze through the qualifiers (and the next phase) without too much of a problem.

I just hope too much emphasis isn't put into Asia, because when we do make the World Cup, it'll be all about Europe.

We have a quality side. We showed last WC that we can mix it with the good teams at that level. We went toe to toe with Italy and more than held our own in that one. We drew with Croatia and outplayed them in the process as well as beating Japan 3 - 1.

Atm, I'd tip teams like Romania to give us a hammering.

    He went alright actually.
Scored the goal, and almost got another. He also found some of his old trickery again.

This month of football will do him well.

I enjoy donating my money to a variety of charities.

The wife don't mind so long as I don't back Manly. Every time they get done she asks if I backed them with an accusatory stare.

So your cousin's a racehorse owner ??? I surprised there's any thoroughbreds around in peasantville, with the food shortages and all.

Look up a horse called Principality then ask yourself what end of the betting spectrum I'm on. In six months you can also look up a horse called Prince Of Truth if everything goes to plan.
