    There were several fights in January alone that were better. (that was the best month of 2012 so far in terms of pure back-and-forth adrenaline charged action... if you made a list of top 10 FOTY candidates of the year so far, half would be from the first month...)

    Marquez-Mepranum II was pretty freaking awesome, too. But yeah, Matthyse's been in two exceptional fights this year (with Soto and Ajose).
