So this guy is now 30-0, mainly at domestic level, he hasnt been in with anyone to warrant huge calls but is now the WBC No 1 ranked contender but Morales has decided to go with Garcia instead. I appreciate he isnt very well known and would be a tough sell, he is also a pretty tidy fighter, a very awkward southpaw and would cause a lot of problems for most fighters within the division, despite lack of experience at top level, he also hasnt been active enough considering the level he is fighting at - I assume it could be high risk for little reward hence why Ajose seems to find it difficult to get a fight with anyone that will give him recognition. His next up on the Martinez undercard in March, opposition yet to be agreed, perhaps a little more US exposure will lead to the winner of Morales - Garcia. Why cant this guy sign up some decent opposition. I read an interview recently where he feels he is one of the most ducked fighters in history...What do you are your thoughts on him?
Good fighter, had terrible luck in his career, his fights were constantly cancelled due to different kind of opponent issues. I would have loved to see him fight McCloskey back in the day when talk of these guys fighting was ripe. funny, because back then McCloskey was the clear favourite
I don't get this hard sell **** nowadays. I dread to think of the match-ups we would have missed if this was a viable excuse in days gone by, Mugabi-Hagler for example almost definitely wouldn't happen today.
McCloskey > Bazan, Harrison, Lynes, Wright, Prescott, Garnica, Sekhon Now look at Alosegun, Alvarado, and Gregorsz Proksas records and see how many of those names you recognise
Hits hard, decent skills, has improved over time, was pretty crude when he started off but is much better now, needs to get his rear in gear though I like him
Ajose > Wright, Lynes, Nuumbembe, Chebah Alvarado> Prescott, Narh, Bazan, Garnica, Huerta, Rosales, Clark, CARLOS MOLINA, E. Clottey
