Welcome, its good to have knowledgeable noobs around here. Exactly. Nigel Wright. Imagine if thats the similar but better skilled Kotelnik.
Witter wasn't, but it didn't make any difference did it? It doesn't matter whether the money was right or not, turning down the chance to fight Junior Witter was a bad move in my opinion.
We have knocked out and beaten much better fighters than Wright and Reid. The fact we had no preparation for Wright and carried injuries into the textbook boxing clinic against Reid should scare people.
It has not been proving to me that PBF the best fighter of this generation can be beaten. Similarly until anyone can beat us it is not known that Ajose Olusegun can be beaten. What I do know is that we bring things to the table that will test PBF to the limit in a way he has not been tested for consistently. If it should happen it would be a great privilege to go up against the best pound for pound fighter of the era. Beating him would surpass Obama winning the Presidency for me.
But obviously if he's still fighting against fighters that arent upto standard it will never be known. I'm not having a go I just would like Olusegen to step up in class of opponent.
Though to be fair theres a slight difference in remaining undefeated against De La Hoya, Hatton etc than Alex Spitko and Michael Frontin in 6 rounders. If your man could beat all these top names get out there and prove it. Even if it takes accepting a rubbish purse to get a couple of names on the record go for it, if he's as good as you say he'll be topping the bill somewhere in a few years and raking it in so whats there to lose?
