On this site alone there has been tens of threads accusing him. Then when you factor in other boxing sites, plus twitter and other social media avenues it is hardly surprising his old man has come out to defend him. Fact is if Joshua is on the gear, so is Fury.
Nothing has been mentioned on mainstream media about AJs alleged steroid use so it's odd AJs dad felt the need to address it on mainstream media.
Have to agree. I said on the thread about AJ gaining two stone of muscle that it was very odd that his dad's first public words should be that AJ wasn't on steroids. His son just won the British title for fuxks sake...unless he felt he had a lot to hide he would have been congratulating his son on reaching the pinnacle of his own adopted country etc. Odd, very odd.
Basically the father knows deep down that his son is on steroids, he's probably asked him before and his son has given him the common lies and denials that drug users and cheats tell their parents. Deep down now the parent knows his son is not only a drug user and a cheat, but also that he's a liar. It's hard for an otherwise proud father to accept. So the parent goes out of his way to defend and make pre-emptive denials to defend his son. In truth the parent is trying to convince himself, not us.
Wlad, Vitali, Floyd, Manny, Evan Fields etc. I'm not surprised by it, it was always going to be around sports and has been for along time. I'm mean look what happened with the Russian Athletics and IAAF? The system that was put in place to catch the drug cheats was the same system that covered up and concealed doping tests etc.
Wlad completely dodged the question here, [yt]watch?v=vL0nhttbmHk[/yt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL0nhttbmHk
Im not so sure. Theres no evidence at all to say ajs on steds. That physique he has is easily attainable drug free.
