    The vast majority of boxers have relatively skinny legs/calves.

    Traditionally training involved lots of jogging/skipping. This type of training will end up giving you skinny legs.

    If you don't believe me, show me a middle/long distance runner with big legs.

    Training is getting a bit more scientific these days of course, and long trudging runs are becoming less and less a part of the training for elite fighters
