As he said in the interview, he will do anything to win, even fight dirty and ugly.

The reality is Joshua just isn't mentally strong

He knows what he has to do but doesn't know if he has the strength to do it.

He's trying to think of several different ways to approach Usyk like BS wrestle tactics and whatnot but he knows deep down his only chance is to jump on Usyk early and go for broke, but he also knows he'll likely gas and get KO'd trying.

I lowkey feel bad for him as he shouldn't have done this to himself. If he just stepped aside he could have gottent his confidence back fighting and possibly beating a mediocre like Dubois or Ortiz and gotten a shot at the winner of Usyk/Fury.

But since Whyte is now mandatory because Joshua refused to step aside it's going to be a long way back up when Usyk stops him....

“Isn’t mentally strong” Based off what exactly? 2 losses?

He quit against Ruiz and just stood there gassed getting whooped by Usyk in round 12. He quit in both fights and isn't mentally solid enough to take it to usyk because he knows his punch resistance has declined and his gas tank is empty after 1 combination. His steroid cow muscles sap his oxygen supply to strangulation levels. It's ridiculous

He probably gets KO'd trying to attack Usyk but him giving Usyk a tough night for 2 rounds and getting knocked out 2 rounds later will earn him more respect from me than being afraid of a cruiserweights power and getting schooled in the process. Plus he has a small chance if he roughs Usyk up

But everybody's different. Maybe you want to see Joshua get schooled again

That’s not mentally weak. Also he didn’t quit against Usyk he just gassed. I think mentally weak is pulling a Foreman or Wilder after their first loss. AJ lost big time to Ruiz and no one thought he could come back, then he wins every round in the rematch. AJ lost big time to Usyk and is coming in with new strategies, that’s not mentally weak

Joshua quit. He don't got that heart like Wilder. We saw him gassed against Klitschko and he still threw back because back then he had a stronger will. Now he knows Usyk will outbox him so he only has one option.

Take it to Usyk. Sink or swim

But it's clear he doesn't believe in his punch resistance or his power because now he's playing WWE and trying to find a way around brawling with Usyk. He don't got the mental strength to bite down on that gumshield and grab the bull by the horns, but he does have the mental strength to spit that gumshield out

That is way too much assuming. Whatever though, I’m backing AJ in the rematch

I have a feelings this rematch will be rigged to make sure joshua is the winner. I hope usyk promoter is paying attention, seems way too friendly with Eddie Hearn

Expect Klitschko-Povetkin level officiating. Joshua is learning how to jab and grab.

Whenever AJ loses to a smaller man he needs millions of dollars worth of expert teams and thinktanks and sport psych brainwashing and retraining just to find a trick to sneak his belts back.

This would be my ideal schedule for AJ.
    Usyk KO Joshua
    Wilder KO Joshua
Fury KO Joshua (no longer with megafight purse)
    *Farewell fight*
    Hughie Fury RTD Joshua
    *Comeback fight*
    Dave Allen TKO Joshua

He can't outbox Usyk. So thats the ony chance he got jab&grab and land uppercut. Even Ali, Lewis and Klitschko clinched a lot in some fights.
