It is said that he trained Jermell Charlo and Errol Spence Jr. So, he must be a good trainer.

 

You can’t train a Glass Jaw. None of this matters.

For all the **** that AJ gets, he's still a top 5 HW. He has the physical tools, he just needs to level up his mental game.

 

Derrick is a pupil of the late great Curtis Cokes. He's making a name for himself for sure. As for him training AJ ?
I think most of AJ's problems are mental not physical. Can Derrick solve these? We'll see

 

Derrick won't be telling AJ he is "brilliant" no matter what.
