Front runner is Helenius, Bryan or Wallin at vicarage road. WBA interim title if it’s Helenius. Won’t be taking mega risks at this stage as he wants the Usyk rematch. They would take the Wilder fight if it presented itself as it would likely be bigger than fury vs Whyte and AJ vs Usyk to a casual audience. But dont expect Wilder to take that fight due to PBC wanting to keep him in-house
I would be very surprised if AJ fights any of these. I’d expect a much lower ranked opponent as Eddie and DAZN are finished if he lost
Hearn should roll 'Big Baby' Miller out, they've already recorded an episode of Gloves are Off, so there's a few quid saved there. They could market it as 'Unfinished Pudding', but would need to hold the fight in the UK or the Middle East, as Joshua would more than likely get knocked down at least 4 times if he fought in America. Plus, he's only ever fought an obese welterweight in the USA, so is untested against a fighter who would still be a heavyweight if he lost 5 stone, in Miller.
Cowardice ? Shame on you. Publish your real name and Boxing record or withdraw the comment. No one who steps in that ring is a coward.
Both huge multi-millionaires so money arguments are not a problem as is any better opponents out there for each other assuming Usyk is not available. As for cowards in the ring, you surely must have seen many as a boxing fan who only got in for money looking for the quickest way out. Any other valid excuses for this fight not happening?
The issue is Fury. AJ has no problem facing him, but believe me, Tyson won't allow Hearn to earn from him. Tyson isn't ducking either, it's purely tactical. Besides, if Tyson is filling Wembley against Whyte, why bother facing AJ?
Well the reason that Fury has been reluctant to fight AJ in past turning down offers. That and Fury said he's retiring after the Whyte fight (probably knows that this is cash out fight and will lose to Whyte after finally stepping up in quality of opposition since coming out retirement).
Wallin is the best south paw opponent if you’re ticking over waiting for Usyk. Although my gut instinct is that he’ll fight Helenius and get a highlight real KO.
Shows how poor the southpaws are in the divison after Usyk. AJ would get a highlight KO against either Wallin or Helenius who aren't good enough opponent for AJ in my opinion. Helenius vs Wallin is a 50/50 fight that would make for decent fight to establish who is the best Scandinavian HW.
I personally think AJ does need to get back in the win column for his casual fan base. I think fight Wallin, beat him better than Fury did it then have a big fight later in the year.
