SRS question: has AJ ever flatlined someone like Wlad, Povetkin and Wilder have done in numerous times? Flatlined as in rendered completely unconscious. Even bums from his early fights count. I don't think he has.
Whyte wasn't knocked unconscious but he was slumped pretty good. Seem to remember Bumbano Love getting laid out too. Hmm.. and I guess both Molina and Pulev turned their backs and ran back to their corners. But yeah you're right actually, he doesn't really seem to have that in his locker, you generally see his opponents get knocked down a few times until he eventually smashes them against the ropes and the ref waves it off.
He sparked Gary Gornish and I think Zumbano Love - not high caliber fighters tho. He's a good heavy weight puncher who hits dam hard. Does he hit as hard as Foreman or someone, possibly not but it's not exactly like he's feather fisted.
Joshua's a combo puncher. The problem with that, is when he comes against a good inside fighter (Ruiz) he's neutralized quite a bit. I mean if he had a good long range power punch, he'd be quite deadly.
Zumbano got up before ten but was knackered This content is protected Cornish got up too and maybe some other ref would have even let him continue This content is protected It seems Joshua has never knocked anyone out cold. What makes people think Joshua will stop usyk? Usyk took Briedis's power with no major issues, Briedis has legit one shot KO power even against heavyweights as he proved against Charr. Briedis laid Charr out cold with one punch. Has done the same to quite a few cruiserweights as well. Joshua needs to land a big flurry of power punches, Usyk's too good for him to be able to do it.
His power has never been overrated He has never had one punch KO power. If anyone gets tagged though, they are in serious trouble, he then tends to follow up fairly well.
A bit BS. 1]Look at Ruiz: in a fight with Arreola he was dropped. And guess what - a bit shaked he stood up. Ruiz just has some good quality chin. Also because he is/was fat, it does not take away anything from his boxing skills; 2]Look at fight with Pulev - AJ just needed one two to knock him out. Pulev has no glass jaw, also has some solid jaw; 3]Most bulls.hit comment was that, type of - oh, Wilder destroyed with one punch! For pucks sake, Wilder is probably hardest hitter in last 50 years in boxing! He is phenomenal in that; 4]Klistchko also did not "laugh"
I could have sworn he laid cornish out and he was hanging over the bottom rope. Never watch boxing in the pub. Is the lesson here. Usyk might be too good for him I think age and weight might take the shine off Usyk and thaylt might give AJ a chance... Huge puncher maybe not but he's a good one and against a much smaller man that might be all he needs.
