AJ's popularity right now is beyond Manny Pacquiao's in 2008-2010.

Pretty sure no soccer player is even near 1b and the net worth that is mentioned includes all the other income as well.

With the heavy taxes, its pretty much impossible for anyone to get even close to 1b without sponsorship money etc etc.

Easy on the comments dude. That's borderline discrimination on Filipinos.

This is an ignorant perspective. Manny Pacquiao is a global icon. Probably the first fighter to reach such status since Mike Tyson.

We are talking about the globe here. Not the U.K.

Well Joshua is a very developed brand now. Just check his last fights... he was slowly getting managed in the right way. The fight with Wilder is going to be huge and there will be tons of money on the stack. It's all staged already. Wilder beats Fury in December and then making a huge mega payday fight in England against Joshua. It would be very dramatic etc. and there will be a second part in the US. Pretty obvious what Hearn is trying to do.

Not even close and you know it. Pac was global and had fought a lot in the States. For a HW, Joshua is not that known in the US or Asia, etc. If he's the world champ, go to Asia or Africa like Ali and see what he draws.

Joshua is quite popular in places like India, Australasia & Africa. Former British Empire countries.

I think the Americas are the exception, which skews perspective.

Perhaps. Regardless I dont think hes quite on the level of Pacquiao popularity wise. It seemed the entire sports world just stopped in its tracks in 2008-2010 when Pac fought.

He can barely read and yet hes the presumptive President elect whenever he decides to run.

Nobody knows who Joshua is outside of the Uk and some Australian circles. People in Germany know who Joshua is thanks to him fighting Wlad, but doesnt mean he is popular there.

Yeah, I would agree he's not quite Pacquiao-level yet.

Caliboxing, Joshua fought Parker who is from NZ so his profile is fairly high in Australasia, but they tend to follow our sports anyway, there's an old colonial connection. Ditto with India, and parts of Africa.
