AJ's resume till now better than of the Greats of the Past when they had around 20 fights?

Hey Blizzy, not all of us Brits!

 

Lennox fought a better fighter in Gary Mason for the british title than Wilder fought for the title and all his defences.

 

I would say his ressume up until this point if he does go in to do better things is pretty much inline with other great heavyweights. Fights his first world class fighter at 19 fights. That's not bad.

But once he's fought klit he can't be excused for any more doormen,binmen, etc has to be top 10 guys at least

 

AJ career path is similar to Lewis . Both Gold medalists and modern day huge hw.
AJ became champ at 26 in 16 fight and Lewis at 27 after 22 fights.
If AJ loses to Klitschko its all academic but if he does win and has half the longevity
of Lewis he still would have being a success.

 

And in the meantime Parker has a better resume and got his title 2 years younger and has had a similar amount of fights...

 

Lets hope all the top 5 guys all get it on soon so we can see who the daddy is

 

Mike Tyson would have went through that record in 6 months.

At least the cans he beat were prime and hungry.

Joshua beat past prime bums who only turned up for a pay check. A handful of them retired immediately after.

Its taken AJ over 3 years to achieve what he did.

Tommy Morrison beat over double the amount of bodies in 12 months.

 

For his number of fights, AJ's resume is absolutely fine and reasonably impressive considering they're all KO's.
When you factor in he's a world champion though, then it starts to look not so good.

 

There is something missing from you guys hollow arguments. I think that I have it figured out...but I'm still gathering information. I think that you just don't know the difference between a real world champion and a titlist. Wlad is not prime and he's not the hvw champion.

 

I could easily destroy this point by point but will only use one example: Tyson
Tyson had more fights, but he ascended from novice to champion (THE CHAMPION
not A titlist) in only a year and a half and at age 20. And 2 Tyson victims in
particular within that year and a half, I'd put as higher level than anyone Joshua had faced
up to that time,

Nothing that Joshua has done is anywhere near remotely as impressive.

I'll give you another freebie, Vitali needed 19 fights to become champ (and you said it was
against a mediocre fighter, but Joshua won his title vs. Charles Martin LOL.

 

You can compare,because the question is nothing to do with the titles they won or how great they ended up,its about who they had fought at the stage joshua is at now,and the facts point to the fact hes coming along nicely to be facing wlad after 18 fights,no bias whatsoever in saying that

Joshua's resume is loaded with TOMATO CANs and NO HOPERs..

 

So why don't you wait until he wins the lineal hvw title because commenting now is premature on your part. Beating an old Wlad if he wins isn't winning the hvw title.
