Akeem skipping and hopping around the ring, tossing out weak one twos. More holding, both working in hold now. Sam lands a hard right on the button. Akeem getting tired. Sam has the right dialed in a little more this round. Much better, but still, Akeem too active.

Akeem doing his best fencer imitation this round, bouncing in and out of range, stabbing him repeatedly with sharp jabs to the head. Sam nails him with a right. A few more rights from Sam. Sam lands a jab, one two from Akeem. Sam countering him a lot better now. Akeem going to the body. More holding towards the end.

Akeem back in full control. Jabbing and moving a hell of a lot better. Making Sam miss throughout. Sam getting wold late, Akeem making him pay for it, landing flurries and one twos galore.

Akeem out with a very active and accurate jab, following up with one twos, still messy, but a lot cleaner work. Sam landing counter rights here and there, but the lunging straight lefts of Akeem are more eye catching. AKeem clubbing him with his inner forearm. More holding and dancing. Akeem spoiling and breaking his rhythm consistently.

Lewis calls time, takes Sam to the corner to have the eye checked out. Match continues, another headclash. Sam lands two rights. Akeem holds. ANother right from Sam. Akeem;s right eye is now a bloody mess as well. am lands a big right late.

Another ugly round, Sam's output dropped. Akeem not too active either, holding a hell of a lot, he lands an uppercut and hard left, Same landed two rights. Akeem's activity nicked it for him, but still close/

Now they're just standing in the corner trading forearms and elbows. They're tying up a lot, Akeem fires off a volley of shots, stuns Sam with a left. Then Sam comes back, flailing and holding, manages to land and stun Akeem with a right. Sam corners him, starts whipping in uppercuts and hooks, lands a few. A lot of holding and mauling from both men for the last minute. Sam lands a big right late.

It's like Guerrero-Ortiz, if Ortiz was a scaled down southpaw featherfisted Ward. Does that sound fun?

A lot of roughhousing and mauling from both men early, both parrying each others shots quite a bit, Sam occasionally getting in a heavy hook, then a sharp counter left from Akeem. Sam following that up with a few stiff rights, then a massive looping right that rocks Akeem. Sam nails im with a few more, then they dance to the bell. Sam takes the final round rather easily.

    116-112 Ennis-Brown

Although 115-113 and 114-114 is fine as well.

Thanks for the honest scoring Chris. I know you picked Maxwell.
Watching it live I had it 7-5 Brown although that’s giving Maxwell all the benefits of the doubt..
    Oh well.. that’s boxing ha3x

Now... was it a robbery? Yeah, probably. However, as @Serge so eloquently pointed out. Akeem has a repulsive spoiler style, and he left way too many rounds too close to call, by choosing to spoil and wrestle rather than land clean punches... so **** him. I'm glad he got robbed too. Although I don't really see it as an egregious one. It was close enough for a draw.

Yeah, I feel sorry for you taking an L. That sucks, I know the feeling well. But mean... I hate fighters with Akeem's style, so I can't say I'm devastated.:sisi1

His antics leading to the fights might have rubbed lots of people wrong as well..
If it’s not for the league I would have rooted for Maxwell. But the fight went exactly as I envision it’s gonna be.. so yeah it sucks
