    Always nice when spoiling tactics backfire, and result in the spoiler being soundly outpointed. Hopkins learned that the hard way against Calzaghe, who overwhelmed him with activity while not being discouraged by said cheap spoiling tactics.That fight wasn't remotely close either. 116-111 Calzaghe always and forever.

    This fight was not like that though, Maxwell was rendered impotent majority of the rounds, and while Brown style might not be pleasing to some, he landed way too many punches to be denied. Frampton had it ahead by 5 after 12 rounds and that was after Maxwell arguably won the last 2 rounds as in mine and Chris’ cards.

    Ennis-Brown got some warnings in the past for his disgusting style. Close cards against C and D level guys. He didn't learn. Maxwell was the clear A-side here so nobody should be surprised about the result. Even Ennis-Brown admitted it in the post fight interview.
