...not I. He is touted as this outstanding amateur (from the fearsome Uzbek system, no less) but he got schooled by Robeisy Eloy Ramírez Carrazana and Michael Conlan - as in, they both shut him out (no shame in losing to either of them, but getting utterly blanked, against both?), and he got knocked out by Jade Bornea. He did have 350 matches and scores over a hundred kayos, which is certainly impressive, but thus far he really hasn't looked that much of a killer in the pros, and this isn't some bum he's facing in Román.
Oh, true... His camp has claimed it healed 100% and is now in the rearview mirror and not a factor, but... That was only a few months ago.
Shoulder injuries seem to have more lasting effects than most others too (I mean, it feels that way, I've no idea if that's statistically true or anything).
Yep, absolutely the case - recurrent bursitis flare-ups (and no health insurance to consistently deal with it, not that PT helped much the first time anyway) have stunted my plans to lace up for years now.
Yep I know the feeling. 2 shoulder surgeries and need a third but too much arthritis so not bothering. Both my clavicals are shot bone on bone. Ran a jack hammer for 13 yrs.
There was a recent vid of Roman on mitts & it scared the **** out of me. I agree the shoulder is a huge concern. Roman said it's healed, & seems pretty confident in interviews. Idk he's the champ I doubt he'd take this fight if he wasn't ready. This content is protected I think MJ is just too hitable & will still lose. Roman by SD imho #AndSTILL
Im going with the Uzbek. Danny is coming off shoulder injury and even before that didn’t look to impressive in the TJ fight. I’m really looking forward to this fight.
