    Round 8

Right hand by Murata, flush. 1-2 by Murata, flush. Right hand by Murata, flush. 1-2 by Murata, flush. Finally, the ref interjects and gives Peterson a standing eight count. The assault continues, more straight combos from Murata. Peterson is no longer dipping or deflecting even a large minority of these punches. His nose is bloodied. There are two minutes left, but the ref won't allow Peterson to see the final bell.

    TKO8!!

    :pc

I just found out this entire card is on delay. Yaegashi vs. Sosa began close to an hour ago. Fortunately I still don't know the result, only that someone tweeted about the first round being underway before 8am EST.

STAY OFF TWITTER (and probably wise to avoid Boxrec too) if you don't want to be spoiled.

DO NOT POST SPOILERS HERE. :rosstheboss You will be permanently banned.

Hmm...didn't catch Muratas first fight but while he's certainly got talent I'm not massively impressed tbh -

Ah, just watched him putting Peterson away, that was a little more like it.

Yeah obviously with the amount he landed on Peterson throughout, either Petersons got a world class beard or Murata just doesn't hit that hard. He should proably get in a few more of this or a slightly higher level, despite the stellar debut.

Good test of Ryota's stamina and he'll have learned more in that than 100's of rounds in the gym

I think the person doing that (Quincy) thought that Inoue v Mancio was Yaegashi v Sosa (**** knows how). The thing is likely on tape delay but you'd have to look in Japanese for spoilers.

So he thought despite it clearly being two Asian guys (with the non-Japanese looking with having a southeastern countenance - and the name "MANCIO" in giant lettering on his trunks) that it was the very Mexican-looking Sosa in there? :rofl :patsch

There will likely be WBC open scoring for this, announced following the conclusion of the fourth and eighth. (if applicable...)
